Ensure that you are being taught correctly! 5th position of the feet is 5th position anywhere in the world… it’s not a 3rd position 🫣 As some people seem to think is actually acceptable 🤔🤷‍♀️😳

Think of closing to fifth like parking your car. First, the toes come in to touch the heel. Then the whole foot goes down. If the heel is off to the side, the “car” is parked crooked. Keep it straight. A neat parking job gives you a clean, strong fifth position.
