Case Study: Sandman Signature Hotel, Newcastle

We are proud to share the interior transformation at the Sandman Signature Hotel! Located directly opposite the iconic St. James' Park football stadium, this is a vibrant and high-traffic destination in the heart of Newcastle.

Cavalier Carpets was delighted to supply a bespoke woven carpet for this project. The key challenge was to balance stunning style with the necessary durability required for a busy hotel.

The solution was a striking Axminster Carpet. This project demonstrates how close partnerships and a commitment to quality result in standout interiors that exceed expectations.

We loved creating this bespoke axminster carpet for the busy Sandman Signature Hotel, right across from St. James’ Park!

Working in close collaboration with interior designer Lorna Gillespie and our customer Andrew Bruce Flooring, we helped bring this vibrant design to life.

and yes... they got to see it being made!

The result? A stylish and durable flooring solution tailored for high-footfall hospitality spaces.

Staircase Install 🏡

We recently had the pleasure of fitting this stunning carpet on a staircase in a private home. A special mention to Knutsford Carpet Services for their impeccable installation, ensuring the stripes on the landing aligned perfectly with the staircase runner.

Prior to this, the carpet edges were expertly taped by Corner to Corner Carpet Binding of Northwich, showcasing their high-quality craftsmanship.
