My passion is coaching individuals and with 12 years of assisting players to overcome their personal barriers to success, my 1:1 coaching portfolio is continuing to grow.

However, the first quarter of 2026 has been focused upon developing the Blackpool Darts Academy, building a solid base of incredible students and I have found this to be incredibly rewarding.

My continued professional development continues with a recent qualification in Coaching Neuro Diverse Individuals, recognising that everybody learns differently and that there is no substitute for knowing your clients learning style - no single lesson plan is suitable for all.

Individual 1:1 coaching remains my core output:

Adult 1:1 Coaching - £40 per hour or pre book a block of 5 hours for £150.

Junior 1:1 Coaching - £20 per hour or pre book a block of 5 hours for £100.

Throughout 2025, Tee Time Social and Sigma501 Darts Coaching have been successfully running the Blackpool JDC Darts Academy and have been delighted with the progress of all students, not only in pure darts but in their core mathematical skills and developing into respectful and considered young adults which we are proud to be associated with.

To recognise their achievements, Tee Time Social Club and Sigma501 Darts Coaching have extended their commitment by agreeing to sponsor two of their most promising students for the first 6 months of 2026.

Sponsorship for Joey Fox and Kieran-Adams Reavey will include paid entries into the local ADC Vaults and ICON competitions where they will continue to develop their skills in a competitive environment.

We are delighted to continue to put something back into the local community and look forward to supporting all of our young dart players to becoming the very best version of themselves in 2026.

Another fun filled night here at the Blackpool JDC with a great attendance and plenty of games to finish off the year.

Another great night at the Blackpool JDC which saw a total of 8 Juniors attend the early session. Harry Young set the highest JDC Assessment Score with 208 and we saw another 5 Certificates earned across the PDPA One to 180 course.

The Seniors were raring to go and were joined again by Kieron who has clearly decided that the set up, coaching and opportunities are better at JDC Blackpool than the Fleetwood Big Fish and who are we to argue? Joey Fox set the JDC Assessment highest score with 626 and another 8 Certificates were completed in the PDPA One to 180 course.

The Advanced Elite Singles League continued with Harrison Southern consolidating his position at the Top of the League with another comfortable victory over young Jake Turner, but Joey Fox is hot on his heels and level on points after he defeated Ellis Oakley. Harry Young gave a credible performance against Kieron and but for a host of missed double, could have pushed the match closer and a hard fought 7-7 all draw between Jayden Creighton and DJ Turner.

Another exceptional evening here at Blackpool JDC Darts yesterday held at Tee Time Social Club, Fleetwood Road.

- 9 players attended the Junior session from 1800-1900;

- 7 players attended the Senior session from 1900-2000;

- 6 players attended the Advanced Elite session from 2000-2100;

- 11 players completed the first two certificates in the PDPA Single to 180 coaching programme.

A great weekend away with the Plymouth darting family at the UK Open Qualifiers in Wolverhampton and Coventry.

Wolverhampton was the biggest competition with over 180 entries. All had difficulty first round ties, with Mikey Tate drawing experienced former PDC stalwart Johnny Haynes. Mikey equipped himself well but eventually lost out 4-2.

Both Gary Whittles and Mark Shears fought through to the last 16 before going down, Andy Bates and John Mann made last 8 with Ant Hayman battling through to the last 4.

On Sunday, a much smaller competition kicked off in Coventry as 82 players competed. Yesterday's stars fell early but Gary Whittles made last 8 before Lewis Dare and Mark Shears competed against each other in the last 4.

Mark Shears prevailed to compete for a place at Munehead; however, despite taking the first leg, he lost the next 5.

The weekend has allowed many players to demonstrate that they have the ability to compete on a larger national stage. Experience wad gained and confidence developed by all.

Riley's UK Open Qualifiers 2017 - Update

The details have all been finalised. Transport will be leaving Porters around 0600 on Saturday 4th February for the trip up to Wolverhampton. Accommodation has been booked and paid for at the Travelodge Nuneaton before the Coventry Qualifier on Sunday 5th February.

There are a few rules which we need to follow and these are:

1. Players are to wear trousers, shoes and a collared shirt. Polo shirts are okay.

2. All games must be played in the order in which they are draw.

3. The competition is a straight knockout. All matches will be played over best of 7 legs, 501, Double finish.

4. Each player must be ready to play when required, there will be no calls made as it is every players responsibility to know which board they are drawn on and when they are due to play.

5. Loser marks or is responsible for arranging a marker.
