We are delighted to celebrate the fantastic achievement of ๐”๐Š๐€๐๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Œ๐ข๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž ๐†๐จ๐ซ๐๐จ๐ง, who placed ๐Ÿ’๐ญ๐ก ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐€๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ƒ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐š๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซโ€™๐ฌ ๐‚๐จ๐ฐ๐š๐ฅ ๐†๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ .

Michelle was unable to dance last year due to injury, so her return to the Cowal boards makes this achievement all the more special. Her perseverance, resilience and determination are a wonderful example to younger dancers and a reminder of what can be achieved through hard work and commitment.

Everyone at the ๐€๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐จ๐ง ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ง๐ซ๐จ ๐’๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ƒ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ข๐ง๐  is incredibly proud of Michelle, and her teacher describes her as โ€œ๐š ๐ฃ๐จ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ž๐š๐œ๐ก.โ€

UKAdance is delighted to celebrate the fantastic achievement of Lucy Patton, who was recently named Runner-Up in the Junior World Highland Dance Championships at Cowal.

This is an outstanding result and a wonderful reflection of Lucyโ€™s hard work, dedication and talent.

We would also like to congratulate her teacher, Linda Napier, whose guidance and support have played such an important part in Lucyโ€™s success.

Reaching a World Championship Final is a tremendous achievement in itself and reflects so much dedication, training, commitment and hard work from both dancer and teacher. We are incredibly proud to see members of the UKAdance family represented on the world stage.

๐ŸŒŸ Congratulations Zoe Patterson! ๐ŸŒŸ

We are delighted to celebrate the success of Zoe Patterson of the Maureen Smith Dance Academy, who recently won the Adult Solo category at the Classique de Danse Awards.

At just 17 years old, Zoe has already enjoyed a hugely successful dancing career. She came through the UKAdance medallist system, gaining valuable experience through UKA medallist competitions in her early years, and has gone on to achieve success as both a solo dancer and in partnership.

One of the highlights of her junior career was winning the All Girl Junior Classical event at the Blackpool Dance Festival in 2024. Since moving into Amateur Solo, Zoe has continued to perform at the highest level and has consistently placed amongst the top two dancers in the country.

She has also enjoyed success in Pro-Am dancing with Freja Smith, has been part of numerous winning formation teams, and has partnered Freja in the presentation of her inventive dances.

Zoe was one of four nominations from her school at this yearโ€™s Classique de Danse Awards, alongside Anya Melville & Evelyn Laidlaw, Owen McGregor, and Daniel Schuker & Freya Carruthers.

We are especially proud that Anya, Evelyn, Owen, Freya and Zoe have all progressed through the UKAdance medallist system.

A huge congratulations to Zoe and the Maureen Smith Dance Academy on this wonderful achievement. We look forward to seeing what comes next! ๐Ÿ‘โœจ
