Our last night of training at C M D A 💔🥺

This month has flown by!
Tonight was very emotional, a lot of tears & realisation has kicked in. We also had a lovely visit off our Miss Kathryn & Baby Ivy ❤️

This Sunday is our Farewell show 💔
Its going to be so difficult to hold it together, but we have each other girls 💜
I'll always be forever proud of every single one of you ⭐️

When I opened those doors to that small church hall on Palmer Avenue 7 years ago, never would I have dreamed that I accomplished what we have done in such a short space of time 🙌
Its when you look back on the journey, you really see how far you have come. However, as amazing as that is, I also see how much I have missed out on with certain parts of my life with my Family ❤️
Speaking from my heart, not just as a professional person, but as a mother and a human, I have with a heavy heart decided to close Chelsey Marie's Dance Academy 💔

This has not been a decision that I have made lightly. I been putting this off for so long, and I have changed my mind on it so many times. It has broken my heart, and I know will break my girls hearts.
There becomes a time in your life when you're realise there is so much more to life than business and work and in the dance industry it can be very intense and can take over your life.
My business was my first baby, however, along the way it wasn't my only baby, as our beautiful Rae blessed us, and our lives changed forever. Children grow so fast, Rae-Rae will start her school journey in September. I am in a lucky position where as a mother I can now choose to be there for all the moments I may have missed previously. I feel like I cannot give 100% to my work and also to her and I choose to give 100% into being her Mummy, a loving partner, being a part of my family, and being present ❤️

CMDA will forever & always hold such a special special place in my heart 🥰 To all the students that have ever passed through my doors over the past 7 years & to those I taught prior, thank you for making me the teacher I am today.
I thank you all for giving me endless memories that I will cherish for the rest of my days.
I feel so lucky to have had the career I have had so far. I will still continue to do some work within the Acro industry as & where I can and I hope our paths will cross again. When one door closes, another one opens 🙌
This also goes for our young ladies at C M D A. Their journeys are so bright, wherever they will go, that dance school will be sooo lucky to have them represent their name. They go out and give it their all and show that hard work and dedication gets you a long way.

I want to thank all my parents/ guardians for supporting our Dance Family. Whether it was for 7 years, or 7 months, or 7 weeks, whatever your duration, you were a part of it.
I want to thank my staff. Like any other dance schools many staff come & go just like students, but to every single one of you that ever once was a CMDA member of staff thank you I wish you all the very best with your future.
I want to thank my students for giving me the best 7 years of my life so far. The tears, the breakdowns, the laughs, the screams, the excitement. It was all worth it. The overwhelming feeling I get of pure pride when I watch you all do what you love, Thank You 💜 ill never forget you.
To all my fellow Dance/ Acro Teachers/ Dance school principals:
The job we do can sometimes feel like a thankless and difficult task. Just know you are changing the life's of many children, teaching them not only dance, musicality, expression, discipline, and social skills but also poise, respect, and teamwork. We also teach them the understanding that failing is not the end but the start and with determination and hard work you will achieve what you originally failed at. Keep going! Just remember without you in that studio your dancers wouldn't be where they are today!

What an Amazing day we had on Saturday with a number of students taking their Acrobatic Arts Exams.

We entered a variety of levels from Primary all the way up to level 4 ✨️

I am super Proud to Announce that all of our students passed their Acro exams with either an EXCELLENT or a DISTINCTION🤸‍♀️✨️;

C M D A, I'm honestly lost for words!
The results you all dug deep to get this weekend were nothing short of Amazing. I am so proud of every single one of you!! It was a really tough weekend with sections full to the brim & the placings you all received were Fantastic!!!!!

Firstly, Thank You to my staff, Miss Cally & Miss Beth who work closely with our Girls to make sure their Solo's are choreographed & ready for the stage! Also to Miss Katie & Ryan for helping maintain some students technique.

Secondly, a huge Thank you to the Team over at Lancashire Dance Festival, for such a well organised Competition & for all the hard work, and effort that goes into making it such a success.
