A dream that started back in 2019 was finally achieved. There is a whole history to Dancing Dragons, if you ever have insomnia and need to sleep, call me. I’ll tell you all about it!

After the world shut down in 2020, I opened the opportunity for anyone, regardless of location to compete in Country Classic in the World Dance Masters Circuit. 5 of us hit the floor in February 2022. The goal was Worlds, but life happens when you are a team full of adults. That is the reason the journey has taken so long. The next year I had surgery, the following 2 years there were pregnancies, weddings, and new jobs, so we were on hiatus.

I am very transparent on what The Pride (Dancing Dragons comp team) is and is not. It is NOT about winning first, being hugely competitive, or only having the best dancers. It is about camaraderie, growth, happiness, and fun. The goal is to give the opportunity to anyone to try competing, go after a lifelong dream, try something new, challenge themselves, or just be a part of something bigger.

This year we started with a team that fluctuated on numbers. In the end we had 6 hit the floor at Sunshine ‘N Line, and 5 of us competing at Worlds. This team is more than the members that compete, we have an entire squad of people that help us through the journey.

All the supporters we have are beyond humbling!

Having a team is challenging, especially when you add distance. Our team does not get to practice every day, week, month or quarter. Our first time practicing together was the day before competing at SNL and the second practice was the day before competing at Worlds. It is not ideal, but the team makes it work, and for that I am forever grateful.

I am beyond appreciative of my team and all the enormous effort, love and happiness they bring to the Dragon family and dance community. Saying ‘Thank you’ is only brushing the surface of my gratitude.

With that, we close the 2025-2026 season, and prepare for the 2026-2027!

Hey friends! Dragon Jenn here! I want to take a minute to give a HUGE thank you to this amazing woman right here, our Drakaina, the stellar Maddie Bee!! Without her, this awesome group of ladies would not have been pulled together to form this team. Her drive and determination kept us moving forward and allowed us to (finally) live out our dreams of competing at WDM Worlds! I personally am beyond honored to be a member of this dancing family. So again, THANK YOU Maddie! And thank you to the other ladies in this photo and all those who helped to make this dream a reality. WE DID IT!

The Americans have arrived in Blackpool!

Finally, 7 years after the birth of Dancing Dragons the team is headed to the World Dance Masters World Championships in Blackpool, England!!
