Harry Poole 🥇 👑was our fastest runner in a time of 16.40 at Worsley Woods Parkrun. His PB there is 16.36 gosh he got so close to it !

At Fleetwood Parkrun David Williamson was our next speedy athlete today with a time of 18.30 as well as 2nd 🥈 at the event.

At Mile End Parkrun Chris Wylie and his brother Dom made a stop for a nice n easy run before the main event the London Marathon tomorrow. Chris’s time was

Over at Caffarella Parkrun in glorious Italy Simon Reason enjoyed a 25.27! The locals make such a great fuss at parkruns with cake and sometimes wine at the end ! Good choice Simon enjoy your time in Italy 👏

Also in Italy not quite a Parkrun but pretty close Basia Pawelczak enjoyed a 5k fun shakeout run in Rome in a time of 27.23 👏

At York Community Woodland Parkrun Christopher Wylie and his brother went for it with Chris achieving a 24.56 Parkrun and bro Dominic in 29.37 - smashed it lads well done!

Paul Plummer visited Hyde Parkrun in Greater Manchester today and ran it in an excellent 24.28👏

At Rothay Parkrun in Ambleside Fran Connolly, Jennifer Burtonwood and coach Bob Massey all ran fantastic times. Jennifer in 27.40, Fran Connolly in 28.20 & Bob in 42.09 👏👏👏

Also in the Lake District Ian Dawson achieved an amazing time of 18.50 at the Keswick Parkrun ! 👏

At Chester Parkrun Paul Sparrow ran brilliant in 23.15 👏

Todd Graham is making fantastic progress with his running. Today venturing to Morecambe to test out the legs with a brilliant result of 21.49👌

Finally we close at Worsley Woods where the effervescent Harry Poole couldn’t resist a fast blast round the course in 16.38 😎👌

At Flint Castle Parkrun in Wales Christopher Wylie is getting back into good form achieving a nice steady 26.48 run (at the time of this report official result not in). Well done to Christopher and his brother Dominic travelling to Wales for this scenic parkrun 👏

⭐️🥇🍊Another win for BWFAC as one of our talented young athletes wins a Parkrun today. Young Archie Belfield ran Pen*stone Parkrun with a sub 18 Parkrun. That natural instinct to win kicks in and Archie is off! His dad Mark chasing young Archie with all his might and running in 3rd at the event in 19.28 and little sister Maggie a brilliant 25.14 (6th lady) and their fabulous mum Claire in 31.18. This was a tough Parkrun too as course is on gravel trail, hilly and very muddy. Well done to the Belfields what an amazing family !

We also had a PB ⭐️today from Nick Hume who is working hard with his training achieving 24.11 at Pavilion Gardens Parkrun in Buxton. Great progress 👌

Christopher Wylie and his brother Dominic Wylie travelled to Woodgate Valley Country Parkrun in Birmingham. Chris for the first time in just over a month or so actually being able to keep running as his injury eases achieving a time of 29.01! It’s a positive result for this young athlete and delightful that brother Dominic is there supporting his brother in a great time of 29.31. Well done lads !

At the Wammy Parkrun in Newcastle-under-Lyme Bill Smith attended with his wife Leslie. They both volunteered as well as taking part. Bill ran in 40.20 with Leslie as tail walker in 1.02.48. Well done 👏

At Clitheroe Castle Parkrun Rachael and Andy Slater ran with Judith Green. Andy Slater running in first out of the three in 26.57 with Rachael in 28.14 and Judith in 34.03. Well done 👏

Valentine’s ❤️ Parkrun in Greater London was attended by over 2000 including Christopher Wylie and his brother Dominic. Christopher ran/walked in 28.28 according to Strava. (official results not up yet on this event).

Whilst across Lancashire icy conditions meant Blackpool Lytham Preston parkruns were cancelled. Our athletes were not to be put off including Rachael and Andy Slater who were determined to start the day with a Parkrun joining forces on their quest with Judith Green. The trio made the journey to Morecambe where freezing cold but thankfully safe to run. Rachael was first over the line in 26.50, Andy 26.51 and Judith 31.17. Great running all of you 👏

Harry Poole couldn’t resist dazzling the masses on Valentines Day with another 1st place 🥇 performance this week at Worsley Woods Parkrun in Salford in a brilliant 16.52 🤩👏

Chris and Leanne Bluck decided to head to Heaton Park for their Valentines Day Run ❤️ Chris running it in 25.27 and Leanne in 29.12 👏

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Personal Bests were on the menu for 3 of our athletes at Fleetwood where over 300 people attended today. The competition was tough. In the lead pack we had fantastic PB performances from Stuart Ford 17.55 ⭐️ David Williamson 18.22 ⭐️ and Dominic Lavelle 18.33⭐️
