Zumba with Lynsey

So today is Secondary (metastatic) Breast Cancer Awareness Day
or stage 4 as they call it (there is no stage 5)

This time last year I was having my last chemo, but my treatment doesn’t stop, I go every 3 weeks for an injection in my leg and every 4 weeks for 2 more in my stomach, I also take a tablet every day! All this is to try and keep my cancer from spreading further. At my last scan it had remained stable and is just setting up unwanted residence in my spine and a small rib. Today I had a repeat scan so until I get those results I just wait and hope its all ok. In myself I feel great but I do have lots of little side effects from long term treatment but hey if it keeps it from moving its worth it.

So if you have read this far I just ask one thing as its breast cancer awareness month, please know your own chest (men & women) if something doesn’t feel right get it checked out. If you want more info on how to check then go to the fabulous website https://coppafeel.org
