It’s often down to the habits you’ve built before kick-off ⚡⚽
Here are the biggest pre-match mistakes draining your performance:
😴 Late nights – sleep is where you recover, repair and reset. Less sleep = slower reactions and tired legs.
🥘 Eating too much before the game – your body ends up focused on digestion, not performance.
🧠 Not mentally zoning in – if your head’s distracted, your game will be too.
💧 Not drinking enough water – even 2% dehydration reduces focus and energy.

Here’s how to make yourself a nightmare to deal with:
⚡ Change of speed – slow, jog, then explode. Keep them guessing.
↔️ Change of direction – check short, spin in behind, move inside-outside constantly.
🎭 Fake movements – sell one run, take another. Disguise creates space.
💪 Be physical – push off as you receive, get your arm across, make it a battle.
🔥 Be relentless – move for the full 90. The more you run, the more tired they get.
