We are honoured to be hosting the 5th Anniversary JB7 Memorial Fundraising Tournament held in loving memory of Jordan Banks, a young boy whose life was tragically cut short at just 9 years old.

This tournament is about more than football. It is about remembering Jordan, celebrating the joy the game brings to children, and coming together as a community to raise money for charities in his name. Every kick of the ball, every smile, and every cheer on the day will be part of keeping Jordan’s memory alive.

We are inviting businesses and organisations to stand with us by supporting the tournament through one of our sponsorship opportunities. Your support will help make the day possible and ensure that something positive continues to grow from an unimaginable loss.

Another big win for the Stingers see’s them pushing league leaders BJFF all the way, but they had to show character to take maximum points at Common Edge.

The hosts took a shock two goal lead early on to fire up a Stingers comeback. A quick free kick from Sayou saw Isaac Chadwick fire home from distance and a fine goal from the former soon levelled the scores at 2-2. Harvey Nelson added a well worked third firing in after a long ball split the home defence to make it 3-2.

Second half goals followed from Higginbottom and a fine brace from Oldendorp to all but seal it. A late consolation from the home side made it 6-3 before another solo run and a 2nd goal from Sayou gave the Stingers a comfortable victory.

👌𝐌𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 - Isaac Chadwick another great performance and wing play down the right creating chances for his team mates and scoring the opening Stingers goal.

Another big test for ’The Stingers’ today as they faced Pheonix.

Always a competitive game, the Stingers started well creating numerous opportunities getting in behind Spirit’s defence. The deadlock was broken when Hugo Creegan took advantage from close range for the lead. Stingers had to give their all in an all action display. A tight first half, it remained 1-0 at half time.

In the second half Stingers were determined to maintain their good start to the season and striker 💥Harvey Nelson made it 2-0 with a goal of the season contender, a superb individual goal.

The home side rallied and pulled a goal back and keeper Sharples made a couple of top drawer saves too to maintain the lead. It was end to end at this point but Stingers killed the game late on to make sure of the points when striker Joe Oldendorp struck to finish the game 3-1.

This hard fought win see’s Stingers go level on points at the top of the table.

Stingers went into this fixture knowing the visitors would prove to be a competitive outfit.

Stingers were keen to carry on our good league form and despite some early pressure from Vipers opened the scoring from close range, Harry Mercer tapping home after a good corner routine. Rayyan Shah soon followed up from
another great corner and the ball broke and he fired the ball in from edge of the area, right into the bottom corner.

After the break Vipers pulled a goal back, a long distance strike from outside the box after an early onslaught. Stingers had chances themselves to make the game safe by adding a third with chances for Nelson, Oldendorp and Booker ... all going close but they showed real grit and determination to hold on for the victory.
