As South Shore Youth FC brings the 2025/26 season to a close, with all of our presentation evenings now complete, we would like to say a huge thank you to every single volunteer who has given up their time throughout the season.

From our coaches, managers, committee members, welfare team, referees, team secretaries, and everyone who works tirelessly behind the scenes – your dedication, commitment, and passion make our club what it is.

Without your hard work and support, providing football opportunities for all of our players simply wouldn’t be possible.

Thank you also to our players, parents, sponsors, and supporters for being part of another fantastic season. We look forward to creating even more memories together in 2026/27.

This special award - the president award chosen by Ian cooper recognises an individual who truly represents everything South Shore Youth FC stands for.
This is the first time this award has been given out and there has been some good reports about him of his ability and knowledge of the game how well liked he is with the players and how he is within the club.

It is presented to someone whose conduct, attitude and commitment have been outstanding throughout the years . They consistently show respect to players , coaches, opponents, officials and supporters, while demonstrating kindness, sportsmanship and a willingness to help others.

Their positivity, dedication and club spirit make them a fantastic role model both on and off the pitch. They embody the values of South Shore Youth FC and have made a lasting impact on our club community.
He has great Support from his Mum Wendy , but also supports the team. it’s great to see he was once a Player and now has come back to Coach in the same club he played for a number of years .

This award is chosen by all the managers and coaches across the club. It is the team equivalent of the Players’ Player award, recognising not only what happens at training sessions and on matchdays, but also the dedication, commitment and hard work that goes on behind the scenes to keep a team running throughout the season.

This award recognises an outstanding season and the achievements of the team during the 2025/26 Your hard work, commitment, teamwork, determination and never-give-up attitude have made you truly deserving winners.

Every player, both past and present, has played their part in this success. Together, you have represented South Shore with pride, passion and professionalism, creating memories and achievements that everyone at the club can be proud of.

A huge congratulations to all the players, the coaches, the parent representative and the parents for their unwavering support throughout the season. This award is thoroughly deserved, and you should all be incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished.

Your hard work, dedication, and passion for coaching have helped the players grow in confidence, develop their football, and, most importantly, enjoy every minute of the game, well maybe not every minute

You have been with the club 15 years and coached a variety of ages. Both girls and boys . And I think you surprised yourself with Coach in the Open Age . You do an amazing job but on pitch and off. So much goes unnoticed. Players both past and present have contributed to your development as a coach. Somehow you’ve mastered the art of coaching football, keeping parents happy (mostly!), and going home with all your footballs.

It was a pleasure to celebrate the team’s achievements with the presentation of their awards and player caps.
