Two of our members have been spending some time down in Dorset training with Leweston Pentathlon Academy and competing in the Leweston Pentathlon Festival of Sport.
What a fantastic time they have had. A massive thank you to all the organisers and coaches who made it such an unforgettable week

26th July Hull Biathle - continuous run/swim. Run on paths and swim in a 25m pool. Entries close 16th July.
13th Sept Allerthorpe Biathle - continuous run/swim. Run is on grass/gravel paths and swim is in lake. Entries close 2nd Sept.
20th Sept UIPM Global tour laser run Liverpool & 21st Sept Schools version. Entries close 11th Sept.

European Championships final day - relays
Alfie & his partner finished 🥈 in their U9 relay race. He went off like a pro and performed incredibly well.
Violet & her relay partner also finished 🥈 place in their U13 relay race - they worked amazingly as a team.
Lots of new friendships made.
What a way to finish an outstanding week at the European Championships in Madeira.
Training won’t stop as these two athletes along with a few other North East Pentathletes will be back here for World Championships in October 🎉🤩🇵🇹

European Championships update from Madeira 🤩🤩
Alfie finished a superb 2nd place in his u9 race. He also gained European Team Gold.
Violet finished an excellent 6th place in her u13 race. Unofficial European Team Bronze (only one nation is allowed on the podium)
