Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year on the 21st June.

How will you spend it?

The Summer Solstice invites us to pause and honour the light - both around us and within us.

In yoga, we speak of Agni (fire) as the force of transformation. It helps us digest not only food, but also experiences, emotions, and the patterns we’re ready to outgrow.

On the longest day of the year, that symbolism feels especially meaningful.

As we reach this midpoint of the year, take a moment to reflect.

What is lighting you up right now?
What feels aligned, energising, and worth nurturing? And what are you ready to let go of?

Happy Solstice from all of us at Agni. ✨

Join us for our 108 salutations this Sunday - book via the link in our bio 🧡 with katelou.wellness

Tell us in the comments: what are you carrying into the second half of the year?

Join us for a powerful and transformative extended practice as we honour the changing season with 108 Sun Salutations.

Traditionally practiced during significant seasonal transitions, 108 Sun Salutations is a moving meditation designed to challenge the body, focus the mind, and cultivate resilience, clarity, and intention. As we flow together through each round, you’ll have the opportunity to connect deeply with your breath, embrace the rhythm of movement, and experience the incredible sense of accomplishment that comes from completing this ancient yogic ritual.

This practice is not about perfection or speed. You’ll be encouraged to move at your own pace, take modifications when needed, and rest whenever your body asks for it. The experience is as much about the mental journey as it is the physical one.

Expect:

* Guided intention setting
* 108 Sun Salutations broken into manageable rounds
* Rest opportunities throughout
* Breathwork and mindful movement
* A grounding relaxation to close

Whether you’re looking to mark the Summer Solstice, challenge yourself physically, or simply share a memorable experience with our yoga community, this special event offers a unique opportunity to reset, reflect, and reconnect.

All levels are welcome, although a regular yoga practice is recommended.

Come and join Kate katelou.wellness with an open mind, a water bottle, and a willingness to discover what you’re capable of.

Agni: A Somatic Ritual of Inner Fire

Join us this Sunday for a very special workshop with Annie Hackwell

Sunday 7th June | 2:30pm – 4:00pm

An immersive somatic ritual inspired by the energy of Agni - the sacred inner fire of transformation.

Through breath, movement, sound, and embodied awareness, we awaken the life-force energy that lives within the body. Together, we soften emotional armour, release stagnant energy, and create space for expression, grounding, renewal, and deeper connection.

This is a journey into sensation, presence, softness, power, and aliveness. A space to reconnect with your body, your energy, and your innate capacity for transformation.

Drawing from somatic movement, unwinding, shaking practices, energy activation, and conscious breathwork, we will explore pathways that support emotional release, nervous system regulation, vitality, and embodied presence. The breathwork element will include tantric-inspired breathing techniques designed to cultivate awareness, awaken energy, and deepen connection to self.

Whether you are seeking release, reconnection, or simply a deeper experience of being in your body, this workshop offers a supportive space to explore, awaken, and embody the fire within.

Come and join us this Sunday 🧡

In a world that constantly asks us to move faster, Yin Yoga invites us to slow down.

Rooted in both traditional yoga principles and Chinese Taoist philosophy, Yin Yoga emerged as a practice focused on stillness, softness, and deep release. Unlike more dynamic styles of yoga that strengthen muscles through movement, Yin works deeper into the connective tissues, fascia, joints, and energetic pathways of the body.

Postures are held for longer periods, allowing space not only for physical opening, but for emotional release and nervous system regulation too.

This gentle practice teaches surrender & Yin reminds us that there is power in slowing down.

Our bolsters are ready!!😍

At Agni Yoga, sustainability sits at the heart of everything we do. Wherever possible, we choose to keep things local. Nurturing relationships with makers and businesses who share our values of care, integrity, and connection to the land.

Our bolsters are lovingly sourced from a local farm in Lancashire, using locally grown buckwheat, thoughtfully harvested and handled by Lancashire farmers. Our founder, Charlotte, has been practicing with these bolsters for years, and when it came to choosing equipment for Agni, there was never another option.

Supporting local producers not only reduces our environmental impact, but also strengthens the community we are part of, something we deeply value.

If you’re a local supplier offering sustainable equipment or conscious products, we’d love to hear from you.

Please do get in touch as we’re always excited to collaborate with like minded people and continue building something rooted, ethical, and nourishing together.
