⚫️🔴 NATIONAL U25 PAIRS 🔴⚫️
Lewys and Ollie won their semi final 22-12 and managed to book their places in the u25 Pairs final.
Unfortunately they came up marginally short in what was a fantastic final, losing 15-13 to Lewys Lavelle and Jack Mounty.
Another brilliant effort putting Blackwood on the map yet again! Great effort boys!

Despite their best efforts, it wasn’t to be for Lewys, Matthew and Ollie. Losing 15-14 on an extra end in the National Triples Semi finals to the eventual winners!
A performance they should be proud of!

O55 RINKS
Our O55 rinks went up to Llandrindod Wells last Friday and narrowly lost in their first round match to a strong Penylan rink. A fantastic effort from our old dogs.. Brian Keeling, Trevor Hutcherson, Haydn Jenkins and Clive Jenkins
U25 PAIRS
Next up was our u25 Pairs. Lewys and Ollie started slow losing their first 7 ends before finishing strongly to mount a comeback and progress on the last end. They followed it up with a convincing win in the QF to book their places in the u25 Welsh pairs semi final!
OPEN TRIPLES
Today, our open triples started their campaign against Briton Ferry Combine. Another slow start but a good second half performance saw them sneak a victory 16-15. Lewys, Matthew and Ollie dug deep to win 17-12 against Caerau and qualify for tomorrow’s Welsh triples semi finals! Good luck lads💪

Yesterday we had 3 representatives in the MBA County finals day! Luckily we able to come away with 2 winners, an amazing achievement for our club.
