Open Wednesday 8th, 10am till last entry 4pm to close by 5pm for all disciplines, but we do not have Compac Sporting available any more.
Open Thursday 9th, 10am till last entry 4pm to close by 5pm for all disciplines.

CLOSED FRIDAY 10TH JUNE

Open Saturday 11th, 10am till last entry 4pm to close by 5pm, we have a 100 Welsh Selection Grand Prix in Olympic Skeet, with £50 HG for 15 + entries, the office will be open by 9.10am to book on, but all other disciplines will be available.
Open Sunday 12th, 10am till last entry 4pm to close by 5pm, we have another day for the Grand Prix Olympic Skeet £50 HG for 15 + entries same timings as saturday, but all other disciplines will be available.
The winner of the Grand Prix will be over the 2 days..

After a good turnout for the Welsh Open here’s the results for the days shooting..
Congratulations to M Robinson for a 93 coming 1st, ORJ Humphries on a 91 coming 2nd and GF Seaborne with 88 coming 3rd.

It is with a sad heart that we announce the passing of one of our regular shooters. Paul Jenkins, a true gentleman. Paul was a Olympic Skeet shooter, he sadly passed away on Monday 23rd of May 2022. All of us at South Wales 2000 would like to pass on our condolences to Pauls family and close friends. Rest in peace Paul, you will be sorely missed.

There is No Compac available at all now, but we will have DTL, English Skeet and a few sporting stands available for practise…

Here’s an update as to which disciplines will be available for practise on Sunday 22nd May because of the DTL Welsh Selection Qualifier:-

The only disciplines available for practise will be a few sporting stands and an ABT/OT range..
There will be NO COMPAC, NO E/SKEET, NO O/SKEET AND NO DTL FOR PRACTISE..

Another busy weekend behind us, with 3 disciplnes having Welsh Selection Shoots!!

The 3rd OT Selection Shoot took place at SW2000 and local shooter, Mike Bennett was High Gun on an impressive 94, “mowing” down the other shooters!!

The 4th DTL Selection Shoot was at Fauxdegla Shooting Ground and Welsh High Gun was Elis Jones with a 100/298, 2nd was John Turpin with a 100/297 and then a 3-way tie for 3rd between Iwan Mills, John Jones and Phil Morgan-all on 99/296!! Great shooting and so close at the top of the scoreboard!

The weekend also saw the 1st FITASC Selection Shoot at Lea Farm Shooting Ground and Welsh High Gun after the 2 day shoot, was Andrew White with a great 95!

Also worthy of mention thie weekend again, is Dave Tavernor, who shot a 100 straight at NSK at Nottingham & District GC!

This coming weekend sees the 2nd Sporting Selection Shoot at Tregaron CSC. Please ensure you contact them to book on asap this week, if you’ve not done so already.

There was not many people who booked in advance so when everyone turns up tomorrow and book in with the office then the draw will take place.

Sorry for those who did book in advance, we had no option but to do the draw on the day of the shoot…
