Cymru Cup 2026: A celebration of talent and pathway to the National Team - FAW The 2026 Cymru Cup took place at USW in Treforest, a crucial step in the journey for future National Team players.

As we start back into the next season I just wanted to say a huge well done to every player we have had the privilege of coaching over the last year.

Whether you've just started your football journey or have gone on to achieve academy, district or representative honours, it has been brilliant to watch your development.

What has impressed us most isn't the level you've reached, but the attitude, effort and willingness to learn that you've shown week after week. Progress looks different for everyone, and you should be proud of how far you’ve come.

Keep working hard, keep enjoying the game and keep striving to improve.

We are looking forward to seeing what the next year brings for all of you. ⚽👏

⚽️ Well that’s the end of our summer block⚽️

We have worked with all ages and abilities (from academy players to new beginners) and loved every second of it. Huge well done to this lot (and the others I haven’t got pictures off) for always smiling, working hard, listening, rising to the challenges set and making massive progress.

You really are a brilliant bunch. Fantastic work ⚽️

Lots of fantastic sessions of the last few weeks with some brilliant effort and fun. Really pleasing (and quite easy) to see the development in their football skills and movement as well as their confidence levels. Some great characters and top kids. Great effort 😊

Great weekend spending some time revalidating, reinforcing and learning with the FAW. As always, the best thing was catching up with so many great people that I’ve been lucky enough to cross paths with over the years. 😊
