‼️ RESERVE TEAM PLAYER OPPORTUNITY ‼️

Looking for a new challenge? Want to get back into football? ⚽️

Our Blaenavon Blues AFC Reserve Team are looking to add players to the squad! 🔵⚪️

The Reserves compete in the Gwent Premier Combination League, with opportunities to develop and progress into our First Team squad competing in the Ardal Southern League.

A first half strike from former Cardiff City wide man Leon Jeanne was enough for Cwmbran Town to take all three points and pick up their first win of the season.

The visitors took the game to the Blues in the first half, playing with a high intensity. While the Blues struggled to get going.

The second half saw the Blues come back into the game, the Cwmbran lost that intensity from the first half. As the game wore on the Blues looked more like they would get the equaliser than Cwmbran doubling their lead.

As the Blues pushed forward, Burns was unlucky with a few half chances. The visiting keeper did just doing enough to put him off as Burns lifted it over him only for it to land on the roof of the net.

Next Saturday it's a heads of the valley derby clash as we visit Tredegar Town.
