A huge thank you to Lyndsey from the WRU for delivering such an informative and engaging safeguarding course for us tonight at Blaenavon RFC. It covered such an important and sensitive subject, and we’re so grateful for your time and expertise.

An enormous thank you as well to our amazing volunteers who took part — your commitment to learning and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our children, families, and club community truly makes a difference.

Here we go again 💪⚫️⚪️ – the 25/26 season kicks off!

Today our Youth & Seniors got us underway with:
🏉 Blaenavon Youth v Blackwood Youth
🏉 Blaenavon Seniors v Abergavenny

Tomorrow it’s the turn of our U7–U15 squads as they step out for their first games of the season!

Good luck to every single player – you’ve worked hard all pre-season, now it’s time to give it everything. Play for the badge, for each other, and go out there & enjoy your rugby.

Well that’s a wrap U13’s tour 2025 is over. It’s been a blast. We even had a special guest appearance from Banana man too. Roll on next year folks……

With this being the last game of the season, onto the next season preparations 🤦🏼‍♀️

Our under 13’s are looking forward to moving up to Under 14’s. We are looking for some sponsorship from businesses.
