End of an era for Newtyle Utd 2007s as we have took the decision to fold the team.
A massive amount of boys have came through this team over the years and genuinely couldn’t have had a better group of lads who have done the coaches and parents proud .
As a team we would like to thank all players, coaches , committee and helpers over the years for being a major part of the newtyle family.
Also many thanks to all parents for their support which was very much appreciated. Many friends have been made at Newtyle and has been a fantastic nine years .

Newtyle Utd 2007s still have two places available in their squad for this season.
Ideally looking for experienced players who fancy a new challenge within a great set up .
Training is on Monday and Wednesday nights at Blairgowrie Astro with games on a Sunday.

Newtyle Utd 2007s made the long journey down to Inverkeithing Utd for todays first round of the Scottish cup.
Game was played in a good spirit and was your typical cup tie.
Newtyle started well and took the lead early on with a cracking 25 yard strike from Finlay which went in off the bar. Both sides had chances in the first half with good football on show.
Second half Inverkeithing were more of a threat going forward and equalised with around 20 minutes to go.
This galvanised Newtyle and with around 5 minutes to go Kuba was fouled in the box and converted the penalty to put Newtyle ahead.
Final score 2-1 to Newtyle and a place in the second round.

Newtyle Utd 07s were on their travels again yesterday with an away fixture against Dundee West Yellows.
Game was played in a really good spirit from both sides.
Yellows had the best of the possession in the first half without really threatening the Newtyle goal. Best chance of the first half went to Newtyle with Caley through one on one with the goalkeeper who produced a great save.
Second half was end to end and again Newtyle came closest with two efforts from Tyler with one great chip hitting the crossbar.
Final score Yellows 0-0 Newtyle

Boys are in Scottish Cup action this Saturday away to Inverkeithing Utd .

Newtyle Utd 07s made the trip down to Monifieth last night for their second league game of the season.
Monifieth started the better and half way through the first half saw them go 2 nil up.
To the Newtyle boys credit the heads never went down and they managed to get themselves level before half time.
Second half Monifieth were the better of the two sides and got back in front early in the half. Newtyle were unlucky with a shot that hit the underside of the bar to equalise but never threatened enough in the second half.
Final score 4-2 to Monifieth who were deserving winners.

Excellent start to the season for Newtyle Utd 07s with a 3-2 win over Montrose at a Sunny Newtyle park .
Apart from the first twenty minutes when the boys started slowly they grew into the game and started to play the better football. Although one down at half time we were never out the game and dominated the second half .
Another hat trick for Ethan sealed the win and three well deserved points.
Disappointing scenes at full time failed to put a dampener on the day.
Newtyle’s next league game is Thursday night away to Monifieth .

Good luck to our 2007 team starting their season tomorrow and our 2010 team starting their first season at 11 a side.
