Bletchley Rugby Club is looking for Matchday Medical Cover to support our Women’s team throughout the 2026/27 season.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable pitch-side experience, maintain their skills, or become involved with a thriving community rugby club.

The Commitment
🏉 Approximately 2 Sunday fixtures per month
🏉 Home and away matches
🏉 Matchday cover only (around 4 hours per fixture)
🏉 Approximately 8 hours per month

Minimum Requirement
✅ A valid First Aid qualification

Whether you’re a qualified first aider, first responder, or studying or working in sports therapy, physiotherapy, rehabilitation or another healthcare profession, we’d love to hear from you. Additional medical qualifications are welcomed but are not essential.

You’ll become an important part of our matchday team, supporting player welfare and helping ensure our players have the appropriate medical provision in place both home and away.

We’re saying a big goodbye to Charlotte as she heads back to university.

A naturally talented rugby player, an incredible teammate and someone who could always be relied on to bring energy to the pitch, she’s been such a brilliant part of our team.

At Bletchley RFC, player welfare is an important part of supporting our club community, both on and off the pitch.

Verity is our Player Welfare Officer, providing a listening ear and a point of contact for players who may need support.

Her role includes:
💙 Supporting players dealing with long-term injuries
🏉 Helping players through challenges that may impact their rugby and wellbeing
🤝 Being available to listen and offer support when needed
📞 Helping long-term injured players stay connected with the club and teammates
🙌 Ensuring players know there is always someone they can approach

Whether facing a lengthy injury, challenges away from the pitch, or simply needing someone to talk to, Verity is there to offer support and a friendly, confidential ear.
