The football season felt like it had well and truly started today, with the weather feeling a bit more autumnal, and our girls are loving it!

🌪️U10 Nemeses
A great match for the for the U10 Nemeses at Oxford Blackbirds!

A really solid first-half performance from the girls, with some excellent football and plenty of attacking pressure. We created lots of chances, but huge credit to the Blackbirds goalkeeper, who was epic! 👏🏼
Well done, Nemeses -another great team effort! 💛💙⚽️

And what an exciting day it was as we debuted our brand-new away kit, proudly sponsored by Octopus Energy! 🐙⚡️

🪶U12 Falcons
Falcons came away 12-1 winners away at Thame today.

A great team performance, many players got to play in different positions and some fantastic worked goals.

☣️ U13 Rebels
Rebels played Oxford City in the county cup today winning 4-0 👍

⚡️U14 Avengers
Our Avengers lost 4-1 to Launton today. The scoreline didn’t reflect the effort or performance. We dominated possession in the first half and could have been ahead by 3 or 4 but couldn’t take our chances. We conceded a couple of soft goals despite playing really well generally and created lots of chances so lots of positives to take into the rest of the season.

🐆U15 Panthers
Fantastic team performance today for the U15 Panthers to come away with a 1-0 win against a strong Summertown team. We’re really proud of their girls work ethic and never give up attitude every week!

🥷U17 Assassins
The Assassins lost away to Arsenal FC today in a JPL Cup Group game.

Whatever the scoreline success=smiles. 👏

Our marvellous minis section continues to grow. So much so that we’ve now created two seperate sessions, both on Thursdays at Blewbury Rec.

4-5 year olds: 5:10pm - 6pm

6-8 year olds: 6-7pm

Loads of our teams enjoying some fantastic football today. Thank you once again to everyone that made it happen !

🌪️U10 Nemeses
A brilliant first game back at home today, for the U10 Nemeses with against Thame and a really impressive start to the new season! 👏🏼

Huge congrats to our 2 new signings who made their debut today too. 💙💛

👻 U11 Phantoms
The Phantoms played away at Wantage. Slow start but a much improved second half and development game. Ended the morning on a high note which we can hopefully take into next week.

🪶U12 Falcons
Our Falcons came away 4-0 winners against Summertown today.

Brilliant team performance, absolutely solid at the back and some brilliantly worked goals. If it wasn’t for their goalkeeper who made number of fantastic saves it should have been alot more, she was unbelievable.

⚡️U14 Avengers
The Avengers drew 1-1 against Berinsfield. Very even and competitive game and both teams had chances to win it but a draw was a fair result.

Solid start in our first game of the season with a new squad and really pleased with the way the girls are starting to gel as a team.

🐆U15 Panthers
A 1-0 defeat for U15’s Panthers today.

Another good performance, and on another day we would have scored 6!

🦅U16 Eagles
The Eagles lost 7-0 away to Bicester. Despite the scoreline, the coaches say that they saw progress from last week, going over 30 minutes without conceding a goal in the middle of the match and
we played some nice football in patches.

We’re really proud of the girls' commitment and effort. The improvement necessary to compete at this level will come!

Our Assassins lost to Ascot United in JPL Cup group.

It was lovely to see the majority of our teams back in action, enjoying the sun, this weekend!

🌪️U10 Nemeses
No game this weekend but the girls can’t wait to start next week!

👻 U11 Phantoms
The Phantoms played Carterton. Solid start to the season, scoring perhaps the best team goal the manager has seen them score! They had some strong physical players but ours got stuck in and defended resolutely all over the pitch. Thanks very much to the parents who helped build the goals and set up at Blewbury

🪶U12 Falcons
Falcons started the season with a 2-0 win at home to Witney this morning. First time they’ve been together as a collective with the school holidays but great to get some minutes on the pitch again and start the season with a win.

☣️ U13 Rebels
No game this weekend but the girls can’t wait to start next week!

⚡️U14 Avengers
No game this weekend but the girls can’t wait to start next week!

🐆U15 Panthers
A 2-1 win for Panthers v Oxford City in our first match at A league level. Really pleasing performance from all the girls, with great commitment shown, well worked goals and solid defending.

It was great being back with the girls and a nice way to start the season.

🦅U16 Eagles
Our U16 Eagles had their first game in the A League and the coaches say they learned alot about what will be required at this level. The girls lost 6-2 to Oxford City, but we created plenty of chances and on another day the score could have been much closer. On to the next one!

🥷U17 Assasins
The Assassins lost to Oxford United in a JPL Cup Group game.
