🏆🌟 FINLAY IS A FINALIST! 🌟🏆

We are incredibly proud of Kokoro member 8 year old Finlay Stubbs, who has been named a finalist for the Youth Sports Award (Under 18) at the Awards 2026!

Finlay has had an incredible year, and over the past year he has achieved an amazing 11 national and regional medals/trophies! Even more impressively, many of these achievements were in Under-16 categories, competing against much older athletes.

Finlay’s success is down to his incredible work ethic and dedication. He trains 5-6 hours a week, as well as travelling across the country to compete.

We couldn't be prouder! 🌟

🎳 KOKORO BOWLING DAY! 🎳

Today we took team kokoro out of the dojo and onto the bowling lanes at Concordia Leisure Centre! 🥳

One of the things we really value at Kokoro is creating a strong sense of community. We love giving our members the opportunity to socialise, have fun and spend time together outside of the dojo — and today was all about having a good laugh, enjoying some friendly competition and making memories together! 🎳😁

And the best part? The trip was completely FREE for our members, funded by Kokoro Shotokan Karate Club Supporters Group ❤️

We’re really proud to be able to offer our members opportunities like this and to continue building a club where everyone feels part of the Kokoro family.
