Blyth Rugby Club Blyth Rugby Club was reformed in 1961 by Peter Daley and Bernie Cranmer, following an earlier club that existed from 1921 to 1937. Based at Plessey Road.

**Blyth RFC 65 – 17 South Shields** πŸ’šπŸ–€

A big afternoon for the **2nd XV** today as they took centre stage for our penultimate pre-season fixture β€” with a few of the 1st XV lads dropping in to fill some gaps and add a bit of experience.

And they certainly didn't hang about…

**65 points scored. 17 conceded.** πŸ’₯

A really positive performance from a squad that’s starting to come together nicely, with plenty of lads putting their hands up and making the case for their place when the season gets properly underway.

The 1st XV might get the headlines, but the **2nds are looking very much like they’ve got something to say about it this season.** πŸ‘€

One more pre-season game to go… then it’s time to find out what all this running about has actually been for. πŸ˜‚
