After what seems like an eternity we are back training as we prep ourselves for the girls toughest season yet. ⚽️. The girls trained well with lots of smiles and high energy. We can’t wait until the full squad are all back and playing over the next couple of weeks.

🟡⚫ BODMIN BEASTS U13 GIRLS – PLAYERS WANTED! ⚫🟡

After an amazing season, the girls have earned promotion to the Premiership Girls League! 🏆

With an exciting new challenge ahead, we’re looking to strengthen our squad by adding 2–3 experienced players who are ready to compete, develop and enjoy their football.

Please take a couple of minutes to look through the poster and, if you’d like to find out more, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Coach Ben.

The 2026/27 season promises to be fun, competitive and full of great football as we take on some of the best U13 girls’ teams in the county.

What a season the girls have had. Starting off the year with 26 girls it was chaos. We knew it was going to be tricky as we negotiated splitting the team into U11s & U12s, they smashed it.

Everyone chipped in and the end result was an unbelievable 2nd place in the Championship East division.

We also narrowly lost 1-0 in the league cup final.

All the coaches are super proud of what the girls have achieved this season. We are super excited for 26/27.

All that’s left to do now is let our hair down at the end of season party while the coaches look at preparing the team for the upcoming season.⚽️⚽️⚽️

The first ever final for these girls today and they gave it their all. Sadly today they fell just short losing 1-0 to the very talented Falmouth Utd. We pushed them all the way but just couldn’t find the goal.
No big write up this time as I just want to focus on the girls and just how far they have all come. All season they gave it everything improving with every game. I can speak on behalf of the other coaches and just say we are immensely proud of them all. All that’s left is to see if we finish 1st or 2nd in the league and enjoy the tournaments we are in.

The The Bloom Room player of the match today was Maisie. She was a constant thorn in the side of the opposition today. Creating chance after chance , and coming close herself. She topped of her performance with a sublime curled effort into the top corner after starting the move off. Great effort and well deserved ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Last league game of the season today. Away to Elevate, a ground we have always struggled on and have yet to get any points at.

Today we started well and took control of the game. We had Elevate pinned back and we were creating chance after chance. The ball just wouldn’t go in and it didn’t help that Elevates keeper was in inspired form. Most notably when she pulled off an unbelievable triple save. A one sided 1st half but still no breakthrough 0-0.

Second half starts and once again we start a bit sluggish before finding our rhythm again and pushed forward . The unthinkable happens on the 40min mark. Elevate win a throw and I’m still not sure how but the ball broke through into the box and Elevate finished it well 1-0. This knocked the wind out of our sails but credit to the girls they picked themselves up . 46 mins in Maisie makes a great run down the left , plays a one two with Hallie before bending it beautifully into the top corner. A goal of real quality. 1-1 and game on. We threw the kitchen sink at them. The few times it got passed their keeper then the post would save them. We tried everything and for the last minute played all 9 players up front . No luck and the game finished 1-1

This result was enough to guarantee 2nd place in the league and a chance at promotion. We can only wait and see if it’s enough points to win the league .

Cheeky tournament down west for a mix of our U11s and U12s this weekend .

2 wins, 2 losses and just missed out on the final. Great effort by all with some great football being played.

Lovely presentation at the end with Dean Saunders who was a pleasure to meet. ⚽️⚽️⚽️
