π THE WAIT CONTINUESβ¦
Due to the on-going extreme drought, the RFU has delayed the start of the 2026/27 season and confirmed that competitive community rugby will now begin the week commencing Monday 21 September.
We know itβs frustrating.
Weβve all been waiting for that first whistle, the matchday shenanigans, the tackles, the tries and celebrations.
More importantly, we canβt wait to have the back!
But grassroots rugby is built on one thing: togetherness, and Bognor Rugby Football Club is the best at representing this!

β COFFEE. π° CAKE. π RUGBY.
The inaugural Bognor Rugby Football Club Coffee & Cake Morning is coming!
Come along, grab a brew, smash some cake, and catch up with the rugby family, old and new!!
π
Tuesday 1st September
Donβt forget, and put it in the diary!
is where the cake tastes like victory, the coffee is stronger than a half-back partnership, and friendships are tighter than the front-row in a scrum.

Tomorrow, four of our own pull on their boots for an opportunity they've earned through their own hard work, commitment and determination.
Arthur. Jake. Josh. Zak.
Tomorrow, they represent not only themselves and their families, but every coach who's guided them, every teammate who's stood alongside them, and the entire Bognor Rugby Football Club community.
Being invited to the Harlequins Rugby Academy Foundation Programme Assessment isn't handed out, it's earned.
So today, we're asking our family and faithful to get right behind these four outstanding young men. Leave them a message of support, give this post a share, and let them know that an entire club is behind them every step of the way.
Boys, enjoy every moment, back yourselves, and show them exactly what is all about.

π©΅π©· Join the Rugby Against Cancer 2027 Sock Takeover π©΅π©·
(more details to follow)
Cancer doesn't care who you play for, what badge is on your chest, or what colours you wear.
But rugby does!!
Every changing room has a story. A teammate who's fought cancer, or a coach who's heard those devastating words. Maybe a parent who's stood by a hospital bed, or even a friend we miss every single day.
For many of us, this isn't just a cause. It's personal.
That's why this season, Bognor Rugby Football Club is proud to stand with Aaron Beesley and the movement. Not because we're asked to, but because it's the right thing to do.
Every pair of socks helps provide vital support to people and families facing one of life's toughest battles, and represents the compassion, hope and incredible work of the Rugby Against Cancer family and its ambassadors.
So when you pull these socks on, you're wearing more than club colours. You're wearing support. Solidarity. Hope!
Whether you play in the 1st XV, coach the minis, run the touchline, or cheer from the sidelines, we're one rugby family.
No rivalries. No divisions. No egos!
Just rugby, standing together against cancer.
π Wear the socks.
π Support the cause.
π Stand with the Rugby Against Cancer family.
Because some battles are far bigger than anything that happens on a pitch.
Rugby is family! No matter the colours!
