Tonight we Welcomed The Next Generation of Girls’ Footballers in Bolton

If you're a parent in Bolton searching for an encouraging, community-driven environment for your daughter to get into grassroots football, Academy Juniors F.C. has just launched an exciting initiative for young players.

Pictures from tonight’s session capture a fantastic atmosphere as the club officially welcomes its brand-new young AJs players. Training is underway for age groups spanning Under-7s right through to Under-12s, bringing together young girls eager to build confidence, make friends, and develop their technical skills on the pitch.

Adding to the positive energy tonight was Lucy, a dedicated AJs player of 10 years. Following the bittersweet news that the U18s squad unfortunately folded this week, Lucy is turning a page by stepping up to assist with session delivery and learn the ropes of coaching. Acting as a fantastic role model for the younger generation, she was spotted sharing laughs—and pausing for a cheeky selfie with her coach and club chairman—showing that the community spirit at Academy Juniors F.C. remains as strong as ever.
