Drago's Gym
Ex pro boxer over 25 years experience, private sessions or a boxing classes dragos is the place to be
42 years young and people still ask me, “Why do you keep training so hard? Why push yourself when you’ve been retired for years?”
The answer is simple: health is wealth.
I still train 5-6 days a week, eat clean most of the time, and honestly, I feel fitter and healthier than I did in my early 20s. My goal in life is simple — to stay healthy, active, and strong for as long as possible, and one day die young at heart from old age.
A massive part of my daily routine is Drago’s Protein Smoothies and Drago’s Protein Balls. They keep me energised, help with recovery, keep me feeling full, and stop me craving junk food and processed sugar. They help me stay switched on, maintain my weight, and perform at my best.
Look after your body, and your body will look after you.

What a way to start your morning at Drago’s Gym 💥🥊
Today’s session was all about pushing limits:
✔️ 3 rounds of skipping
✔️ 3 rounds of shadow boxing
✔️ 6 rounds on the pads
✔️ Finished with 4 x 2-minute rounds on the punching bags with 20 crunches in between 🔥
✔️ Then a grueling full-body circuit to finish strong
And the perfect recovery? A healthy, delicious, and nutritious Drago’s smoothie 🥤💪 mccarthy

Loads of new faces walking through the doors, new clients joining our Drago’s Gym classes, and plenty of new one-to-one private lessons booked in too! Great to see so many people coming down, getting involved, and enjoying the training atmosphere at Drago’s Gym 👊
The classes have been BUSY! Everyone’s been training hard, pushing themselves to the limits, sweating, grinding, and levelling up every single session 💯
Remember… progress doesn’t come from staying comfortable. The people getting results are the ones showing up, staying consistent, and putting the hard work in day after day 🔥

🔥 WHAT a busy weekend at Drago’s Gym! 🔥
Friday was all about 💪 .boxing putting in the work with strength & conditioning circuit training — building strength back into her joints, muscles, and body, getting fitter, stronger, healthier, and into the best shape of her life ahead of 7 fights in 8 weeks! 👊🔥
Saturday started with a full morning of 1-1 private lessons, then we were off to Oldham Leisure Centre working corners at another awesome show 🥊

Then straight back Sunday morning for more busy 1-1 private lessons before finishing strong with our 12PM Sunday Funday All Levels Class 😅🔥
