We are proud to offer the Swimming Teachers’ Association Aquatic Helper Certificate– the perfect first step for anyone interested in becoming a swimming teacher!🏊‍♀️✨

This STA-approved mentoring programme gives 14 year old and above aspiring helpers the opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting swimming lessons alongside a qualified Level 2 swimming teacher. Learners complete an Aquatic Helper workbook, develop their communication and teaching skills, learn about water safety and teaching methods, and complete 12+ hours of practical helping in lessons before achieving their certificate. It’s a fantastic way to inspire the next generation of swimming teachers and build confidence in and around the pool🌟💦

A huge thank you to our amazing current Aquatic Helpers who you may have spotted around the pool, Elsie, Evie, Alice, Dominic, Miles & Harper! You are all doing a fantastic job supporting our teachers and swimmers, and we’re so proud of the progress you’re making🎉🙏🏼

We aim to create a community with a passion for swimming for those to take their first step towards teaching!🌈

Our badge order is now being placed, and we can't wait for them to arrive so we can present them during the last week of term. We know how excited everyone will be to receive their well-earned badges and certificates!🏆

What an incredible achievement! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that, thanks to the amazing support of our swimmers, families, friends, local businesses and community, we have raised an incredible £6,611.00 through our Sponsored Swim in aid of Bolton Smiley Faces and Cancer Research UK 💙💗

From every length swam, every raffle ticket bought, every refreshment purchased and every donation made, every single contribution has helped us reach this fantastic total🤩🌟

We are so proud of all of our swimmers who took part and gave their all in the pool. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, shared our fundraiser and supported us along the way. We couldn’t have done it without you all!!🎉

Together, we’ve made a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful for every penny raised🫧

We know there may be a few nervous faces, but we also know just how much they’ve learned and how hard they’ve been working. We can’t wait to keep seeing the children show off their new skills over the next 2 weeks and celebrate every achievement, big or small🩵🤞🏼
