Great to see all the boys for one last time together as the team disbands. All the boys have new teams for the next chapter of their footballing journey.

What a pleasure these boys have been to coach and there’s some talent amongst these lot 😮‍💨

🏆 Most Improved - Elliot Bingham - Playing up a year this lad has proved that size doesn’t matter and having the drive and courage to want the ball and to learn is more important.

🏆 Managers Player - Miller Taylor - Quiet lad off the pitch but as soon as he steps on to the pitch a warrior in defence. When Miller doesn’t play he’s missed massively being that rock at the back. Loves a tackle and is the unsung hero.

🏆 Players Player - Elliot Walker - Leader on and off the pitch. When your 2-1 down and you need someone to step up and get a goal or two you look to get the ball to Elliot’s left wand. An absolute pleasure to coach 👏🏻

The boys travel down to Tarmac Silverlands Stadium in Buxton for the MYSL Cup final.

The boys were down at tonight playing 4 games. 2 wins, 1 draw & 1 loss. Some great goals scored and some brilliant individual performances. All about creating memories💙

Weekends game was a tough one for the boys against a strong Boothstown Bulls unfortunately wasn’t our day. We created some good opportunities and the goals scored were well created and finished. All the boys put a top shift in 💪🏻.

Managers player - Elliot Walker -
Elliot worked really hard up and down the pitch defending from the front but also creating chances which earned himself really well taken goal smashing it across the keeper into the top bins.

Parents Player. - Harrison Jones -
Harrison again, his work ethic is brilliant and works tirelessly for the team up and down the pitch and getting what we thought was the goal of the game from Little Lever. Two passes from the back into Harrison’s feet, one touch to take it 1v1 and slotted it home. 👌🏻

Each week all the boys are working a lot more for each other which in turn is creating a lot more opportunity into front of goal.

This will be a tough test for the boys on Saturday. 💪🏻

Everyone of these boys deserved MOTM today. Lost the game with the last kick of the game to make it 8-7 to the opposition. Losing 5-2 half way through the boys fought on and scored 5 on the bounce to make it 7-5. Roach Dynamos made a late come back and snatched it at the death.

Really exciting game to watch for everyone!

Parents player - Elliot Bingham -
Absolute cat in net making some crucial saves to keep the boys in the game. Elliot then came out of net to get himself on the scoresheet twice 🙌🏻

Mangers player - Connor Nurtney -
The first couple of minutes Connor really struggled to get into the game but came off and listen to what the coaches had to say and went back on and grafted upfront and got his reward scoring to goals latching on to 2 defensive mistakes.👌🏻

Saturdays Fixture for the boys. 🙌🏻

Not the result we wanted, frustrating game but the lads battled till the end. Two of the boys missing and two boys getting injuries 10 mins in but they cracked on.

Mangers player - Olli Corbett - Olli had a slight injury but still wanted to help the team, got hit in the head from a free kick. Olli kept going despite all of this and got his goal, working hard for the team and even did 15 mins in net keeping a clean sheet. Definition of a team player. 💪🏻

Parents player - Harrison Jones -
Second game in and gets smashed in the face with the ball and burst his lip. He came off, had a drink and went back on scoring and assisting in the game. 🙌🏻

Well done to Jack for getting 2 goals also and scoring one straight from a corner which is becoming a trademark of his 👌🏻

A 4-4 draw today for the boys. All of them deserved Man of the match after a great team performance but just couldn’t get the win. Special mention to Harrison on his first game for Little Lever getting 2 assists and having an overall solid game.

Jacks goal was created with a nice little give and go with Harrison, Jack then smashed the ball hard and low across into the bottom corner. 👌🏻

Mangers Player - Olli Corbett -
Olli worked his socks off up front and getting two well taken goals. A flick over the defenders head and slotted home nicely (Gazza 96 vs Scotland 😉) His 2nd goal Olli latched onto a great through ball from Harrison to take it round the keeper and slide it in over the line.

Parents Player - Elliot Bingham -
Elliot made some superb saves and then came out of net and got his head on the end of one of Jacks corners to redirect the ball into the net. 👌🏻
