AGM - Thursday 25th June, 7pm, at the club
The Bolton Rugby Family are encouraged to attend the club's Annual General Meeting on Thursday 25th June starting at 7pm. This is the opportunity for all our members (all sections) to hear a summary of how the club has performed over the last 12 months and more importantly look at the strategy in place for the next year and beyond. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions on how you want your club to operate going forward, the Club undoubtedly works better when we have a broad consensus of opinions and views so please get involved.

IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE VOLUNTEERS WHO MAKE RUGBY HAPPEN
It’s Volunteers’ Week - a national celebration of all things volunteering - and we wanted to take the opportunity to thank all the volunteers at Bolton Rugby Club for everything you do - whatever your role and however much time you give, you are part of an incredible community of rugby volunteers.
Thank you for every hour you’ve given, every task you’ve quietly done and every moment you’ve stepped in to allow people to play, attend an event or just feel part of their club.
From the grounds team, coaches, committee members and weekend volunteers to the many other people behind the scenes, we wanted to say a huge THANK YOU, we couldn't run the club without you!

Bolton's Senior Section celebrated their superb season with a cracking presentation evening on Saturday. Compared superbly by Ben Lawes and with John Bentley entertaining throughout the evening, it truly was a celebration that commemorated the effort the players have put in throughout the year, with promotion for the First Team and two great Cup runs.
With a deserved few weeks off before pre-season, plans are well underway to build on this season across all of our senior teams. 🏉🔴⚪️ Join BOLTON RUFC U14s for the 2026/27 Season 🏉🔴⚪️
As our year 8 boys move up to year 9 in September, and the team move up to U14s this coming season, we’re looking to welcome new players to join the squad for pre season training starting July. 💙
At Bolton RUFC, rugby matters, but the environment we create around it matters even more.
Our core values are simple:
🤝 Teamwork
👏 Respect
😁 Enjoyment
💪 Discipline
🏉 Sportsmanship
Most importantly, we believe every player should have the same opportunity to learn, improve and enjoy the game in a safe, supportive and fun environment.
Some players want to push themselves as far as they can competitively and they’ll be challenged and encouraged to work hard and improve every week. Others may simply want to enjoy rugby, build confidence, make friends and develop at their own pace and they are just as valued within the squad. Nobody gets pushed aside.
We want players who want to be part of a team that supports each other, works hard for each other and enjoys turning up every week. Winning is important, but being part of the squad and the culture we build together will always come first.
Next season at U14 level brings exciting new challenges:
🏉 Bigger pitch
🏉 Full 15-a-side rugby
🏉 Uncontested lineouts
🏉 Kicking for goal
🏉 New positions and new responsibilities
📍 Training resumes July 5th with dates below for taster sessions!
Please drop the u14 team manager Amy a message if you are interested to find out more - 07739 027528.
