Important Announcement! ❤️🎣💥

Alot of you probably already know this and to quash alot of rumours here it is.

After 18 years I have made the decision to retire so as of Monday 31st August Tonge Moor Angling Supplies will be under new management.
The shop will remain open and trade as normal and hopefully a there is a seamless change of hands.
Its been a great pleasure to have built the shop up from nothing to what it is today and im sure it will continue to grow under the new owner.
I have made many new friends met lots of great people along the way.
In my late 30's I had what you would call a mid life crisis and I wasnt in a great place. Fishing got my out of the house and I thank fishing for my recovery and it was then I had the idea to open my own shop, the wife thought I was crazy walking away from my profession as an electrician but she stood by me all the way.
With the help of family and my Uncle Stephen Morris we set about opening the shop and I'll never forgot my encounter with the very first tackle rep I met Paul Boothby aka Boo, he got me set up with Maver and when I gave him a bag of Money to pay for my first order he was convinced he was going to get mugged outside! I then met Mark Addy and Lee Addy from van den eynde and they said something along the lines of you will struggle to get any accounts with Dave Aquarium just down the road, but onwards and upwards I kept going, eventually I got an account with Preston Innovations through Mick Slater and I suppose that was the turning point of actually making it work and with the supply from the van lads like Roy Meridith and his Son Gary Meridith, John Jonathan Slocket I grew stronger. From that point the accounts just kept coming and now have accounts with almost every tackle company. There is just far too many companies and reps to list them all but I thank each and everyone of you for your support over the years.Its with the help of My Uncle Stephen, Jonny Corless, Louie Taylor , Brad Mills, Uncle Graham, Mark Morris, Chris McNally Stuart Rodgers Harry Fairhurst, Carl Lowe and David Higson that have made Tonge Moor Angling Supplies the shop it is today.
I thanks all my customers for your continued support over the years and I know I will miss the shop very much and could ramble on all day telling stories!

I wish Brad Graham all the best for the future and I am sure Tonge Moor Angling Supplies will continue to grow.

Please can I remind all Tonge Moor AC permit holders that all anglers under the age of 16 years MUST be accompanied with an adult. There are No junior permits and anyone under the age of 16 without a permit holding adult will asked to leave and be banned from fishing our waters. There is also NO night fishing and No Bivvy's/Day Shelters allowed on the walkways on any of our waters. If these rules are not followed then there will be No Junior anglers allowed at all, spoiling it for those that want to fish and not break the rules.
All.members are bailiffs and have the permission to ask others that they think may be fishing illegally or breaking the rules.

Here are the final results for the May shop trip to Rookery waters and Kingsland Reservoir.
Thanks all that came and made it a great week, fishing was hard at times with the recent cold weather. The only negative was the Sunday knock up at Float Fish Farm fished terrible!! we later found out they have had big problems with fish deaths and was close for a few weeks prior to us being there, they still charged us full price and didn't mention anything about the recent problems but hope all still had a great time! Roll on August!!!
