WEEKEND RESULTS🏏

2 great results on Saturday for the 1st XI & 2nd XI!

Bowling first the 1st XI came out firing with early wickets from KP followed up by Phil & Jordy all taking 3 wickets each as we bowled Stand out for 106!

In reply a solid 49* from Ted batting alongside Ross 22* saw us home comfortably taking a bonus point win!

2nds had a great fightback win at home to Heywood!

Batting first and at 89-9 was looking very bleak before a 27 run partnership between Archie Wicklen & Will Harper got us up to 116.

With the ball in hand we showed grit with 3 wickets from Chad Haefele plus 2 run outs put Heywood on the back foot before the off tweaks from Chris Farrell taking 3-14 bowling them out for 98!

2nds put in a spirited performance against a very good Prestwich side!

Bowling first and we had relatively controlled the innings before their middle order stepped it up a gear with their #4 coming off with a very well made 105* setting their score at 329-6.

In reply we was well in the game with a quick 78(41) off the bat of Mathew Knight (Sponsored by Performance Electrical) batting alongside Brett Ernst who went on to make 78(85) set us up for a great game but wasn’t to be as regular wickets followed as we chased the game coming up 120 short in the end.

Another good weekend coming up with games at the Rigbys all 3 days! 🥳
