Here's what she had to say about her Online Coaching journey: "I contacted Gavin for Online Coaching a few months after having major spinal surgery. I was out of shape and carrying extra weight, but I wasn’t sure how I could tackle these things given my situation.
From the initial chat with Gavin, I knew I wanted to work with him. His knowledge is amazing and I can honestly say he is the best coach I’ve ever worked with. The best thing is, he never once put my back at risk in pursuit of goals and if anything, the programme improved my spinal strength and mobility.
I wasn’t sure Online Coaching would work but thanks to Gavin, I always felt motivated and accountable plus I was hitting my targets every week. Over the first 6 weeks I dropped 6kg in weight and toned up a huge amount.

“Before I started coaching with Johnny, I’d actually never done a proper diet phase so wasn’t sure what to expect. I’d always used training as an excuse to eat what I wanted, and it was quite clear when we sat down and looked at it that a couple of things stood out:
I was consuming far too many calories for my output,
The quality and structure my food needed addressing for the goals I wanted,
It didn’t have to be boring …. It was as inclusive with foods as I wanted it to be
We went into a dieting phase to get ready for a photoshoot and had a 12 week deadline, along the way it was pretty clear that I had developed a lot of bad habits and learning how to restructure these and implement these was massive for me where I am now. Along the way I would be coached on how to structure my week if a social event was coming up, and coached around how to lower calories and increase output sensibly and safely without going too far either way leading me astray from my goals
After the first shoot was done and we set a marker we had a diet break and jumped into a diet phase for a 2nd shoot, this one we sat down and decided we were going all in, and Johnny’s coaching along the way was great, constant feedback in check in’s, taking into consideration factors around my lifestyle, family and holding me accountable all the way, even taking time out of his holiday on the day of my shoot to make sure I knew how to approach the day and how it went
Overall now I’m in a much better headspace and have a clearer picture of how I can plan, structure and execute my week in terms of nutrition to allow me enjoy a weekend with the family or a social event without stalling any progress along the way
No matter what level you think you're at, experience wise whether you’re a coach yourself or somebody looking to start from scratch, everybody can benefit from being held accountable and having guidance when it’s broken down so easily”
