Markland Hill saw a lot of success in the recent Lancashire County Champs, taking home multiple Gold and Silver medals throughout the week.

Martin Bromley and his partner won the 65+ Men’s Doubles

Gwilym Dixon and his partner won the 14U Boys Doubles

Thomas Burnley and his partner won the 18U Boys Doubles

Charlotte Harris won the Kep Simcox Trophy

And a HUGE shoutout to one of our newest members, Elizabeth Rimmer, who won the Women’s Singles, Women’s Doubles and the 18U Girls Doubles as well as finishing Runner-up in the Mixed Doubles!!!

Josh Kay and Jake Lane also came Runners-up in the Men’s Doubles

Holly Jones and her partner came second in the 14U Mixed Doubles

And last but certainly not least, William Baron put on an excellent display all week to finish runner-up in the 9U Masters and the 8U Singles!

Most importantly thought, was the support shown by everyone from Markland Hill throughout the 10 days of ups and downs. It was amazing seeing so many people there supporting every one of our players. Well done everyone!!! 🎾🌹🎾
