In glorious weather ,with the course in impeccable condition, we crowned our 2026 Men’s and Ladies Club Champions. Daniel Clutton overcame Ash Williams in a high quality final peppered with birdies to lift the trophy and defend his title,following semi final victories over Jack Bryan and Callum McPhillips respectively.
Karen Sawyer lifted the Ladies crown overcoming club stalwart Carol Helme in their final.
Jason Garside overcame last year’s beaten finalist Chris Brooking to take the Seniors title and our junior captain,Rafferty Platt, overcame Matthew James to take the Junior trophy.

We had the pleasure of marshalling The Open at Royal Birkdale recently with several members volunteering their time to see Ryan Fox crowned Champion Golfer of the Year. The weather was glorious for the whole week and a fantastic experience. Congratulations to and all at the The R&A, Royal Birkdale Golf Club on a great tournament.

Well “that’s a wrap” on our sell out festival week. Congratulations to all the winners and those who took part. A huge thank you to our sponsors Bolton Kiafor their support with this event.The comments back to us about the course and overall experience are also very much appreciated by all the staff who work tirelessly in the background to put on these events.

The Bolton Ladies Championship concluded in sweltering conditions with Louisa Stirling from Harwood winning the Preston Scratch trophy against our own Annie Wong-Lo 1up in a very tight final and Melissa Horrocks from Bolton Golf Club overcoming Sarah Joyce from Old Links 4&2 for the Nellie Whitehead Trophy.
Congratulations to all competitors who took part in another successful championship enduring some of the toughest conditions in recent years.👏🥵🏆
