Well done Amelia

Well done our very own Sharples Wrestler Amelia. Who has just competed at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Junior World GI and NO GI Championships in Wolverhampton this weekend.

Amelia won Bronze in the world Gi Championship in the under 50kg white belt division, and then added a Silver in the world NO GI championship in the under 48kg white belt division.

Amelia who came through the Sharples wrestling in schools program, has now been wrestling for Sharples Wrestling Club for 8 years. Amelia has now added these two world championships medals to her National Gi championship Gold medal that she won earlier in the year. Amelia is already making a name for herself in wrestling and is now also hitting the dizzy heights in Brazilian Jiu jitsu after only taking up Jiu jitsu barley 12 months ago.

Well done Amelia fantastic achievement πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
