Happy Bulls Birthday, Aimee! 🏀🎉

Aimee is the youngest member of the team, and turned 15 today! She's been training with us for several years now and played her first game for The Bulls 2 years ago.

It's been lovely to see the progress you've made over the last few years and we can't wait to see how much you continue to progress in the coming years! 😊

We hope you had a fantastic birthday, celebrating with family and friends, and hope that you were suitably spoiled!

🏀 Earlier today, we played our first Wheelchair Basketball Development League game against Tees Valley Mohawks 5.

A tough result for the Bulls, losing 40–29, but a great experience and plenty to build on. Huge credit to the Mohawks on the win. 💪🏀

We're on our way to Penrith for the final 2 games of the season for The Bulls in the 2026 UKWB Development League.

We play 2nd placed Mohawks 5 at 10:20am who will be desperate for a win themselves to push Carlisle Panthers for 1st place.

We then play 8th placed Carlisle Panthers 2 at 2:20pm hoping to finish our season with a good performance and a win.

The Bulls are in 4th place at the moment, and it doesn't look like we can finish any higher, and we can't finish lower than 6th place, so we'll go into tomorrow with nothing to lose and everything to gain in terms of fun and experience for our players.

Happy 35th birthday to Bulls DSC’s coach, treasurer, chief organiser, part-time miracle worker and full-time “have you asked Graeme?” man 🎉

Honestly not sure where the club would be without you. If something needs doing, Graeme’s already done it… probably with a spreadsheet.

Coach, treasurer, fixer of everything, and somehow still only 35 (although some referees may have aged you prematurely).

We hope you have a brilliant day, mate. The club would probably have to fold for administrative reasons if you ever took a week off.

Leila has been with The Bulls for quite a while now, and is now an established first team player with key roles on court. She was part of our inaugural Women's team at the UKWB Women's Cup last month.

As one of our faster players, Leila is often deployed to terrorise other teams and frustrate their attacks. Away from basketball, she also uses this speed playing wheelchair rugby league, which she's probably spending her birthday evening doing tonight! 🤣

We are grateful for all of the effort you put into training and games, Leila, see you at training tomorrow!
