LARK Dance Drama & Gymnastics

On Sunday, our ballroom and Latin teaching/ student teaching staff took 15 of our ballroom and Latin students to competition at The Loom in Oldham. Our students showed determination, strength and persevered through some very tough recalls. Lark left with several awards between 1st-7th place.
We are very proud of how our students performed this weekend! Well done team LARK! 💃

Today our Ballroom & Latin department had a pro workshop…

It’s not often we invite the same pro back for a second workshop, but how could we not! The kindest, knowledgable and loveliest lady we could wish to influence our younger generation of dancers! Both classes were so much fun and loved by all!

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported our Coffee & Cake Sale today. Together we have raised an amazing £452.88 for Bury Hospice 👏✨

We organised this cake sale to give back to an incredible charity that cared for Laura’s Mum and Ella’s Grandpa, and your kindness and generosity mean so much to us all 💛

We still have lots of ice pops, Freddos and drinks left, so these will continue to be on sale at the studio to help support our ongoing fundraising efforts for Bury Hospice 🍦🥤🍫

Also, a huge well done to all of our Lark students who took their UKA Dance Exams today — we are so proud of you all and your fantastic results! 🌟👏

Myself & Ella are running the Manchester 10K for Bury Hospice, alongside family, friends & some of our amazing parents — and this is one of our fundraisers to give back 💛

STRICTLY BEST FOOT FORWARD FOR BURY HOSPICE 2026

We are so honoured and proud to have supported this event for another year, by providing the studios free of charge, with two of our amazing teachers Jessica Purves and Maisy Leader, for 12 weeks.

The event brought in £103,000 for Bury Hospice, which will go to much needed care for families in Bury.

A couple of the winners returned back to LARK this evening for a Ballroom & Latin lesson to help with their strictly blues!
