P&B GP14 2026 UK Inland Championship at Welsh Harp Sailing Club The scene was set; competitors were gradually emerging into the spring sunshine of the dinghy park. The fantastic Saturday evening social, ''Harpfest'', had clearly taken its toll on some, but help was at hand in the form a full English breakfast.

It's shaping up to be a great competition of similar size to last year's Nationals, with entries from 13 clubs and a great split across gold, silver and bronze fleets.

Early bird closes midnight Sunday 8th March, and there are 5 spots left! Plenty of accommodation still available on site.

Too early to call a wind forecast just yet, but a return to a favoured SW pattern this coming week is a good omen!

GP14 World Championships

Preparations for the GP14 World Championships are progressing at pace, and interest in the event has exceeded all expectations.
To date, 122 entries have been received, surpassing the initial entry cap of 100 boats. The Organising Committee is currently exploring options to increase overall capacity where
possible. Further information will be communicated once this review is complete.
In the meantime, members are advised that entries received within the first 100 are guaranteed a place in the Championship. In the interests of fairness to all competitors, confirmed entries cannot be transferred, swapped, or gifted to another boat. For clarity, this applies to changes involving all three category changes: new boat number, helm and crew.
We appreciate the enthusiasm shown for the event and thank all competitors for their understanding as we work to deliver a successful and well-managed Championship.

We have the largest GP14 fleet in the south and guaranteed competitive racing, not to mention the gorgeous nature of the harp with just the Wembley arch reminding we're still in London.
