Ollie and myself fished for a few hours on Thursday in very changeable conditions. I had a little 2lb Common Carp on worm over groundbait & a little Perch. Ollie had a little Tench, a little Mirror Carp, lost a slightly better fish on feeder when the hook pulled and then on margin fished worm, pulled out one of the biggest Perch I've ever seen the lake produce. Wonder if there's some big Stripeys in there?

The fishing was slow but lots of fish activity. They were rolling and topping including some lumps!

AI is getting so good that sometimes it's hard to tell genuine from fake when it comes to pictures. My bailiff sent me this catch report this morning. 😄 Don't believe everything you see on social media. Remember they're only fooling themselves if they fake it.

Really hard fishing at Fall Birch Lodge Coarse Fishery this last couple of weeks. Lots of anglers struggling for better fish and those using natural baits are mainly picking up small silvers & the odd newly stocked Tench & Carp. I have never seen the water levels as low as they are right now & it is certainly affecting the fish feeding. Rain....please come!

Fall Birch Lodge Coarse Fishery is fishing really well at the moment with most customers reporting plenty of decent Tench, some of our new Carp showing for the first time, Roach, Rudd, Bream & Perch. The older Carp go to 18lb!

We offer:

♡ Tackle hire with bait available (deposit and 24 hour notice required)

♡ Optional coaching/guiding available

♡ Limited to 6 Anglers per day to avoid overcrowding.

£10 day ticket 9am - dusk
£20 24 hour ticket - 9am - 9am
£30 36 hour ticket - 9am - dusk

♡ Don't want to share? You can book the whole lake to yourselves (Max of 6 fishing)

Well done Harry. Not a bad 24 hours on Fall Birch Lodge Coarse Fishery, 3 doubles on 2 different methods. Thought the fish would get on it after the cool down. Great to see young anglers smashing it!

Nice Carp out this week for Sam. Weather has been so up and down. Thanks to bailiff Thomas Biggs for doing a cracking job strimming the whole site. Tom is a professional gardener. If anyone needs any work doing, highly recommend.

What a lump out off the top! The place fished really well today. Missed about 3 or 4 Carp too. Struck the hook straight out of their mouths....amateur.
