Apollos Boxing and Fitness

Another prospect has had a bad run of luck this season in his boxing career ❤️

He has had in our honest opinion five bad decisions in a row including one in another box cup recently ❤️

He has been ill this week and almost couldn’t box due to the illness but as usual begged to box anyway ❤️

He boxed a heavier opponent in his final in a tough bout against an awkward southpaw winning by decision and finally breaking his run of bad luck ❤️

In between training for his amateur bouts he trained and ran a marathon as well as working a full time job and helping out coaching at Apollos ❤️

Tom is a true representation of hard work and being a good person paying off ❤️

He still has one bout left this season and we are confident he is going to put in another great performance ❤️

Tom is both one of the nicest guys in the gym but worst guys to spar due to his none stop pressure style ❤️

Big congratulations to the guy who simply will fight till his last breath ❤️

As the season ends for the the last couple of shows are just about ending ❤️

one of our most dedicated amateur boxers boxed last week and put on a master class against an opponent with 24 bouts to his 5 bouts ❤️

This weekend Jamie took on an undefeated opponent from a top gym in Newcastle and came up just short ❤️

His bout this weekend was probably the toughest bout we have had at Apollos so far and Jamie didn’t just shy away from the challenge he put in a mega performance changing up his game plan every round ❤️

Couldn’t be prouder of our up and coming amateur boxer and there are definitely big things to come next season ❤️

Another amazing weekend for the amateur boxing team ❤️

Last week was our home show with all our boxers putting in great performances ❤️

This week we had three boxers in the box cup and all three put in great performances ❤️

At Apollos we pride ourselves on our boxers performances and not the results and the boys literally never let us down ❤️

This weekend we have two new champions with one of them getting a stoppage victory ❤️

This is only our third season as an amateur club and we have had over 300 amatuer bouts ❤️

We are very proud of what we have achieved so far and even more so our boxers performances and how they represent our amateur boxing gym ❤️
