The team has been working hard on the 2026-27 Protyre Circuit Rally Championship.
We aim to have the Championship Regulations, Calendar and Entries available for you by the end of next week.

This Thursday (27th August) is a Natter Night. Same spot as always, Jolly Crofters, Horwich. Come down and have a drink and have a chat. We hope to see you there.

This Thursday is something new and exciting for the club, as we run our first non-competitive 12 car event in conjunction with Regardless Motor Club.
The event is part of a concept called 'Road to Regardless'. Over the past few weeks newcomers to road rallying and navigation have been attending navigation training events at Regardless MC club nights, and this Thursday they will be putting that training to the test on a non-competitive mock 12 car event. During the evening they will experience different types of controls as they would on a competitive event, and learn how it all works ahead of their hopeful competitive debut on an event in the near future. The crews will be starting from the Cross Keys Inn, Whitechapel at 19:30, and finishing back at the Jolly Crofters. Why not join crews for a drink afterwards? Maybe you have some road rally knowledge to pass on that could come in handy!

🚗🏍️🏎️ Calling all car and motorbike enthusiasts, owners and clubs!

Magic Motor Fest is just over a month away, and excitement is really starting to build.

If you would like to display your pride and joy at this first-of-its-kind Speed Of Sight event, now is the time to pre-register so you do not miss out.

All car and motorbike displays will be positioned on the cricket field, not in the car park, thanks to Farnworth Cricket Club granting us unprecedented access to use the pitch. With display spaces limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, we strongly encourage owners and clubs to secure their spot early.

Expect a fantastic family day out with a funfair, games, food for all tastes, drinks, ice cream, stalls, autojumble trade stands, dealership displays and a brilliant mix of vehicles from vintage and classic cars to modified, electric, sports, supercars, American vehicles, motorbikes and kit cars.

We will also be awarding trophies for the best vehicles in their categories, plus an overall Best in Show.

Vehicle display registration is just £5 per vehicle, including passengers, and this donation will support Speed Of Sight, helping people with disabilities experience the freedom, confidence and excitement of driving specially adapted vehicles.

We are also delighted that the Mayor will be attending, helping us mark the occasion and support what we hope will become an annual event for the automotive community.

This week (6th August) is something a bit different, bowling!
If you want to join us, simply turn up at Hollywood Bowl, Middlebrook for 8pm, and pay for your games either in advance or on the door (usually around £20 for 2 games).
