If youโ€™re like me, and youโ€™ve been taking supplements nearly everyday for years now to combat any nutrients that may be lacking your diet. Fast run was in the diary for today, I was never the fastest so itโ€™s area Iโ€™m forever improving on.

Distance is my game so need to balance out the two.

Go run, walk or just stand outside if you havenโ€™t left the house already, and absorb some of that sunshine๐Ÿ˜Œ

New best tonightโœŒ๐Ÿฝ

Didnโ€™t wait for better conditions to do it. Just went with the plan to run at some point today and did.

Conditions arenโ€™t great when you run outside in the snow or rain, itโ€™s never comfortable, in fact...it sucks! Cold wind and wet feet is never a need in your life when youโ€™re already warm and cosy in the house.

You arenโ€™t being brave either because you are totally alone, and by yourself. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐ŸŒง๐Ÿ‘€

There is however, undervalued benefit from putting yourself into an uncomfortable situation.

Waiting for things to look better doesnโ€™t mean itโ€™ll be better.

Itโ€™s raining. Ok, wear a hoodie.

Itโ€™s snowing. Alright, wear two jumpers.

Find the solution and focus on the outcome.

Keep feeding the good wolf๐Ÿบ

Itโ€™s been great to take a step back over the last couple of weeks to improve myself through different avenues.

To sit my phone down instead of making it my immediate partner to help with distractions out of total boredom. Which is what most of us do, nothing new to report there.

I know itโ€™s been hard and difficult lately, the unknowns and the let downs etc. Iโ€™m not saying for one second that itโ€™s been easy.
It has however, been harder to create something whilst being distracted from your goals.

Being able to step back into yourself and look at what you do with your time, instead of filling it scrolling between the hours of the day, can be rewarding.

One of the loves I know Iโ€™ve found again was in my running. From Boxing Day I was able to get out in the snow and ice and make the most of it.
It helped give me a feeling of clarity again. Coming home and not worrying about the present was a gift.

I hope weโ€™ve all found something that does the same๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Growth is not only identifying your target, but also removing the noise.
Eliminating the dead ends that disrupt your focus.

All Iโ€™m saying is, try and imagine the time when access to things like the internet, for example, wasnโ€™t as easily available. (Scary thought for some๐Ÿ˜‚)
Well what would you be doing instead?

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

๐ŸšจNEW HOME๐Ÿšจ

Well, Iโ€™m very excited to share this news because as of today, Iโ€™ll be moving to Extreme Gym (Bridgeton).

This is something Iโ€™ve been working towards this year and itโ€™s good to say that itโ€™s finally happening.

Had such a great time at PureGym, got to work with some of the best people and now itโ€™s time for me to move on, and experience the next stage of my personal training journey.

It was tough, but extreme has been a place Iโ€™ve always went to and enjoyed fully. Youโ€™ve seen many sessions with over the years so itโ€™s not a surprise Iโ€™ve picked this place. Closer to home as well which makes it even better.

Absolutely buzzing doesnโ€™t come close to how I feel right nowโšก๏ธ

So letโ€™s see what happens for the future!

Tracking all year round - ๐Ÿ“Š๐Ÿง

Fitness trackers/Meal Plans are beneficial to start with as a basic understanding of nutrition and what works for your body. It is a tool for education.

Once you have this foundation, it is possible to not plug every gram of food into a fitness tracker every day to see results.

I've not tracked my calories or macros at all for this entire year!

I've been in this game a long time, which has allowed me to know what is good for me thanks to following a meal plan previously and not feeling overwhelmed when I still have 400-500+ calories still to eat at night. I know what works now and as a result, I can naturally pick up food(s) and stick to a very easy routine.

What am I getting at? We should all have 1-2 choices for each meal we have during the day (I have 5 day at least) so thatโ€™s a good 8-10 rough ideas I know Iโ€™m having. We like routine after.

Constant adding to a tracker for the rest of your life is not the goal. This can lead to feelings of anxiety around food, and feel like you have failed if youโ€™ve not hit your macros to the gram.

Your health and fitness goals should enrich your life, not consume it.

Incredible results coming from this week๐Ÿ’ฏ

Couldnโ€™t tell you how proud I am for starters, but this girl really puts the work in.

Whether in a gym of at home, itโ€™s getting done!

Body confidence and happiness constantly improving๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ Skills that are great to learn.

I always look forward to Hannahโ€™s check ins each week, which she never misses. A small thing I ask from my clients to do, this helps me do a better job at what I love.

Try not to miss them.

Accountability helps to push and drive us in our attempts at bettering ourselves all round. Itโ€™s not just a check in photo, itโ€™s a check in with mentality and the state in which weโ€™re in to tackle the following week๐Ÿ˜‰

When there is a gauge on progress, we can always find out whatโ€™s working and what to do next. Especially when that person is really working for it!

Because youโ€™re stronger than you think.

Nothing has ever happened that you didnโ€™t get through, think about that for a second. You have made it this far and youโ€™re still breathing right? Albeit weโ€™ve been deprived this year of the things we normally enjoy and it sucks! But there WILL be a next time.

Itโ€™s still got time to learn more and work to do, before finding out exactly what that is.

You didnโ€™t know growing up that enduring difficulty is the greatest teacher on how to grow up. The moments you doubted but still lived to be here today.

The world can push you to forget many things about yourself but keep in mind that youโ€™re winning even if it doesnโ€™t feel that way.
You donโ€™t need to learn a new skill or change the world or find a new partner to make you whole again, no. You need to keep learning from each moment and break through the next obstacle like youโ€™ve been doing all your life.

Myself and I

Here is a nice little look at the last 11weeks, from when I finished my holiday up north, and the end of a lengthy 5+ months of lockdown.
The motion of me putting the key in that engine again, as the pursuit for growth and strength began.

On the left Iโ€™m roughly 92ish kg with little to no activity. Did long walks and only ate 3 times a day (normal?) Felt good but not my best in terms of body shape. Right picture is from today, weighing in at 97kg, training 4 times a week weight sessions and eating 5-6 times a day. 2 treat meals on top of that for the week. Energy and sleep better too.

Putting myself out here to show that I did struggle massively! But I pulled it back, got my head down and focused on what I wanted physically. If you like me have worked this way, then the next 3 weeks will be a breeze๐Ÿ˜Ž
