If youโre like me, and youโve been taking supplements nearly everyday for years now to combat any nutrients that may be lacking your diet. What a glorious dayโ๏ธ
Fast run was in the diary for today, I was never the fastest so itโs area Iโm forever improving on.
Distance is my game so need to balance out the two.
Go run, walk or just stand outside if you havenโt left the house already, and absorb some of that sunshine๐

New best tonightโ๐ฝ
Didnโt wait for better conditions to do it. Just went with the plan to run at some point today and did.
Conditions arenโt great when you run outside in the snow or rain, itโs never comfortable, in fact...it sucks! Cold wind and wet feet is never a need in your life when youโre already warm and cosy in the house.
You arenโt being brave either because you are totally alone, and by yourself. ๐๐ง๐
There is however, undervalued benefit from putting yourself into an uncomfortable situation.
Waiting for things to look better doesnโt mean itโll be better.
Itโs raining. Ok, wear a hoodie.
Itโs snowing. Alright, wear two jumpers.
Find the solution and focus on the outcome.
Keep feeding the good wolf๐บ

Itโs been great to take a step back over the last couple of weeks to improve myself through different avenues.
To sit my phone down instead of making it my immediate partner to help with distractions out of total boredom. Which is what most of us do, nothing new to report there.
I know itโs been hard and difficult lately, the unknowns and the let downs etc. Iโm not saying for one second that itโs been easy.
It has however, been harder to create something whilst being distracted from your goals.
Being able to step back into yourself and look at what you do with your time, instead of filling it scrolling between the hours of the day, can be rewarding.
One of the loves I know Iโve found again was in my running. From Boxing Day I was able to get out in the snow and ice and make the most of it.
It helped give me a feeling of clarity again. Coming home and not worrying about the present was a gift.
I hope weโve all found something that does the same๐ง๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Growth is not only identifying your target, but also removing the noise.
Eliminating the dead ends that disrupt your focus.
All Iโm saying is, try and imagine the time when access to things like the internet, for example, wasnโt as easily available. (Scary thought for some๐)
Well what would you be doing instead?

๐จNEW HOME๐จ
Well, Iโm very excited to share this news because as of today, Iโll be moving to Extreme Gym (Bridgeton).
This is something Iโve been working towards this year and itโs good to say that itโs finally happening.
Had such a great time at PureGym, got to work with some of the best people and now itโs time for me to move on, and experience the next stage of my personal training journey.
It was tough, but extreme has been a place Iโve always went to and enjoyed fully. Youโve seen many sessions with over the years so itโs not a surprise Iโve picked this place. Closer to home as well which makes it even better.
Absolutely buzzing doesnโt come close to how I feel right nowโก๏ธ
So letโs see what happens for the future!

Anyone that struggles with their mental health, or feeling vulnerable, itโs going to be ok and soon the good times and fun will come back again.
We spend the majority of the time, inside our heads.
Letโs keep that as a good place to be.

Tracking all year round - ๐๐ง
Fitness trackers/Meal Plans are beneficial to start with as a basic understanding of nutrition and what works for your body. It is a tool for education.
Once you have this foundation, it is possible to not plug every gram of food into a fitness tracker every day to see results.
I've not tracked my calories or macros at all for this entire year!
I've been in this game a long time, which has allowed me to know what is good for me thanks to following a meal plan previously and not feeling overwhelmed when I still have 400-500+ calories still to eat at night. I know what works now and as a result, I can naturally pick up food(s) and stick to a very easy routine.
What am I getting at? We should all have 1-2 choices for each meal we have during the day (I have 5 day at least) so thatโs a good 8-10 rough ideas I know Iโm having. We like routine after.
Constant adding to a tracker for the rest of your life is not the goal. This can lead to feelings of anxiety around food, and feel like you have failed if youโve not hit your macros to the gram.
Your health and fitness goals should enrich your life, not consume it.

Couldnโt tell you how proud I am for starters, but this girl really puts the work in.
Whether in a gym of at home, itโs getting done!

I always look forward to Hannahโs check ins each week, which she never misses. A small thing I ask from my clients to do, this helps me do a better job at what I love.
Try not to miss them.
Accountability helps to push and drive us in our attempts at bettering ourselves all round. Itโs not just a check in photo, itโs a check in with mentality and the state in which weโre in to tackle the following week๐
When there is a gauge on progress, we can always find out whatโs working and what to do next. Especially when that person is really working for it!

Nothing has ever happened that you didnโt get through, think about that for a second. You have made it this far and youโre still breathing right? Albeit weโve been deprived this year of the things we normally enjoy and it sucks! But there WILL be a next time.

The world can push you to forget many things about yourself but keep in mind that youโre winning even if it doesnโt feel that way.
You donโt need to learn a new skill or change the world or find a new partner to make you whole again, no. You need to keep learning from each moment and break through the next obstacle like youโve been doing all your life.

Myself and I
Here is a nice little look at the last 11weeks, from when I finished my holiday up north, and the end of a lengthy 5+ months of lockdown.
The motion of me putting the key in that engine again, as the pursuit for growth and strength began.
On the left Iโm roughly 92ish kg with little to no activity. Did long walks and only ate 3 times a day (normal?) Felt good but not my best in terms of body shape. Right picture is from today, weighing in at 97kg, training 4 times a week weight sessions and eating 5-6 times a day. 2 treat meals on top of that for the week. Energy and sleep better too.
Putting myself out here to show that I did struggle massively! But I pulled it back, got my head down and focused on what I wanted physically. If you like me have worked this way, then the next 3 weeks will be a breeze๐
