Rise Show 2026 ✅
What a show! Still on cloud 9 thinking about it! 🤩🤩
Myself and Elle feel so proud of every individual that took part 💚🥹. You all excelled in your own individual ways, whether it was performing for the first time, showing off a new acro skill, becoming more confident, developing your performance skills, remembering your routines or stepping out of your comfort zone. We celebrate all you have achieved 👏🏻 You were all amazing 💚
An important part and highlight of our Rise show every year is the bringing together of our Rise family, seeing the older children interact with the younger children making lovely supportive friendships, we are so blessed with such brilliant role models for our younger children, see everyone cheering each other on, and having a great time creating lasting memories. 💚
We also love having our families be involved in such a big part of shows with helping back stage too. Always grateful for the willingness of our big army of supporters! Special thank you to those faithful parents that have been apart of helping with shows for years since when you joined. We hope although it’s a bit 🤪 you enjoy being part of the show team, without you the shows couldn’t happen.
🙏🏼
Shows take an awful lot of work, not only in the weekly classes but all the background work that has to be done for it. That said we love what we do and Rise brings us immense Joy 🥰

This 🥹 🫶🏼
Sometimes there is nothing that gives us more pleasure than when children that find achieving movements a challenging longer journey than others, because it highlights so many brilliant other skills they demonstrate along the way 🤩 which makes them amazing! Never giving up! 💪🏼 and when they do finally achieve it, knowing the hard work, physically and mentally they have put it, is beautiful feeling for them and us.
Phoebe you are a star in so many ways, and seeing you help look and organise some of the children in your group is just 💗
Thank you for being a wonderful member of Rise 💚
I’m posting this photo of Phoebe in her acro costume, partly as a reminder to all the dance parents to order your Rise show photos, but mostly so she can look back on this one day and feel proud of herself.
She’s been dancing with Rise since she was 3 years old and has loved every minute of it. But over the last couple of months, she’s really struggled with mastering a cartwheel. We’ve practised at home, watched YouTube videos, copied techniques… but it just wasn’t clicking. It started to knock her confidence, and she wasn’t her usual bouncy, excited self before dance.
Then, I’m sure with the encouragement of her fantastic teacher, she started focusing more on helping the younger girls in her class. Some of them couldn’t do cartwheels either, and she told me she wanted to show them that you can still enjoy something, even if you’re not the best at it.
Wow. What a life lesson for a 6-year-old to understand!
We’re still practising those cartwheels, and maybe one day she’ll get it… and maybe she won’t. But seeing her be okay with that, while still loving dance and looking forward to performing, makes me incredibly proud. She’s so excited for the dance show that she asks every single morning, “Is it today?”
It’s made me wonder… what have I stopped doing that I loved, simply because I wasn’t very good at it?
I might have to set myself a new goal to - be more Phoebe. ❤️

❤️ Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. ❤️
