Let’s see if our mums can prove we’ve got what the Amazons have got 😂
We’re hugely encouraged by the continued popularity of Women’s touch rugby at the club on Monday nights, and we’re delighted to announce that the Bolton Valkyries have their first ever touch rugby fixture coming up on Wednesday 29th April against Ashton Rugby Club. It’s a home game at Bolton Rugby Club with a 7pm kick off. Get down to the club and give the Valkyries a cheer!

Sunday saw Bolton Amazons U18s join up with Rochdale and Manchester for their last game of the season as the 'Harliquins ' cluster, away at Crewe and Nantwich.
Amazons Poppy Lawrenson was made captain for this game and with four girls from Chester in the side a good close game was anticipated.
With spectator numbers boosted by Crewes womens team, who's game was cancelled, there was a great atmosphere despite the bad weather.
What followed was by far the Quins best performance of the season against a well established and experienced Crewe side.
Excellent work in the scrum from prop Molly Woodward, and Poppy Lawrenson, who playing at number 8 absolutely dominated the line-out game giving the team plenty of ball to play with.
Quins were leading 10-17 with 5 minutes left on the clock, when Crewe scored a try out wide,...15-17 with the conversion to come there a few squeaky bums around!
The conversion was calmly slotted,...17-17 and 3 minutes left.
From the restart possession was gained and the Quins girls battered their way up field but unfortunately ran out of time to gain their elusive first win of the season.
Come down and join us, new players are always welcome!
