What a performance from the Cobras today! A 3-2 win against Crompton but the score definitely doesn’t reflect the game as we were constantly on top and creating chances. It definitely could have been a lot more goals but we’ll blame the pitch for that one 🤣 we worked so hard today especially on such a big pitch.

⭐️ PARENTS PLAYER OF THE MATCH - ZACH SHELLEY ⭐️

Zach is absolutely flying at the moment! 🔥 he was completely unplayable today, constantly causing problems for the opposition!⚡️and 2 goals to top it all off! ⚽️⚽️ one of them coming from a superb assist from Edith! 🔥

⭐️ PLAYER OF THE MATCH - CYRUS ⭐️
Another fantastic performance from our keeper! Cyrus pulled off some great saves when we needed him and his awareness today was superb! A massive contribution to the win! 🧤

A proper team performance from the Cobras today. They all worked their socks off and we thoroughly deserved those 3 points! 🔥

One of those days today… 🫣

The first half was some of the best football we have played. The passing, movement and work rate was brilliant and defensively we were organised and solid.
We deservedly went into half-time 2-0 up 🙌🏼

Unfortunately the second half was a completely different story… 😬 we stopped doing the things that had worked so well in the first half, got caught on the break too easily and once they got a couple of goals back we struggled to get ourselves going again.
No excuses though. We know there are things we need to work on, both individually and as a team and that’s what we will focus on 👏🏼

🏆 Player of the Match went to Lewis today! A big, strong performance from Lewis who put in a great shift and gave everything for the team 👌🏼

🧤 Parents Player of the Match went to Cyrus! Some superb saves today, along with great bravery and decision making when it mattered. And he’ll be our captain next week!🫡

We’ll take the lessons, get back to work and go again next week. 💪🏼
