💗Could menopause be behind how you've been feeling?

Sometimes it’s hard to put your finger on what’s going on.

You might be struggling with brain fog, poor sleep, anxiety, fatigue, mood swings, aches and pains or changes to your body and wondering why you suddenly don't feel quite like yourself.

And perhaps you've even started blaming yourself.

But what if some of these changes are connected to perimenopause?

That’s exactly why we created Peri Pilates.

Over six weeks, Leanne and I bring together Pilates, menopause education, practical support and relaxation, with each week focusing on a different symptom.

You’ll get:

🧘‍♀️ Pilates designed around the week's symptom
📚 Menopause education and practical guidance
💗 Resources to support you between sessions
✨ A 10-minute hypnotherapy session at the end of every class
🤍 A welcoming, supportive space where you can simply be yourself

This isn't about fixing you.

It's about understanding what's happening, being kinder to yourself and finding ways to support your body and mind.

Starts Tuesday 8th September
6.15pm
The Mills Studio, Bolton

£50 for all 6 weeks OR £10 per individual session.

If you've been wondering whether menopause could explain how you've been feeling, come and spend an hour with us.

💗No judgement. No pressure. Just support.

💗One week to go!

It's hard to believe we're just one week away from starting Peri Pilates!

We created this programme because we know how confusing, frustrating and sometimes downright exhausting menopause can be. You shouldn't have to figure it all out on your own and you certainly don't have to wait until you're feeling better before you start looking after yourself.

Over six Tuesdays, we'll focus on a different menopause symptom each week, combining:

Pilates designed around that week's focus
Breathwork and calming movement
Menopause education and understanding
Practical resources to use between sessions
A 10-minute hypnotherapy session to finish each class
Support from both Leanne and Catherine

And the best bit? You don't need to commit to all six weeks if you don't want to.

💗 Full 6-week programme £50
💗 Individual sessions just £10

📅 Starts Tuesday 8th September
⏰ 6.15pm
📍 The Mills Studio, Bolton

💗If you've been thinking “maybe I should do something for myself”, perhaps this is just for you.

Come as you are. We'll be there to support you.

Message us to book your place, we would really love to have you join us.

There are days when menopause can leave you wondering, “What the hell is happening to me?”

The hot flushes.
The rubbish sleep.
The brain fog.
The anxiety that seems to appear from nowhere.
The aching joints.
The feeling that your body has suddenly been thrown up in the air.

And honestly? It can be a lot. I know!

But here's the thing I want you to know, you don't just have to put up with it.

There are things that can help.

Movement can support strength, mobility, mood and overall well-being. Even when you can't be bothered, just move! You will feel better after.

Strength training becomes especially important as we move through menopause. I'm not saying suddenly start lifting heavy weights every day. I'm saying just add a few weights to your routine, see how you feel.

Good nutrition can support your energy and help you feel more balanced. Put the good stuff in!

Rest and sleep routines can make a real difference when sleep feels all over the place. Take some time for you. Not everything is urgent!

Stress management matters too, because your nervous system deserves some attention, not just your hormones.

And sometimes, talking to someone helps too

And please don't underestimate the power of simply understanding why you're feeling the way you do.

You're not imagining it. You're far from being dramatic.
And you haven't suddenly become a different person.

Your body is going through a transition and it deserves a little more kindness, support and understanding along the way.

That's a big part of what I love about menopause coaching. It's not about trying to “fix” you. It's about helping you understand what's happening, finding practical things that can help, and giving you the confidence to make choices that feel right for you.

If you're struggling with symptoms and don't know where to start, you're not alone. Let's talk.

There’s something really special about working with someone who just gets it.

We feel so lucky to be working together.

We might bring different skills, experiences and ideas to the table, but we share exactly the same goal, helping people feel better, move better and feel more confident in themselves.

And that’s what makes working together so special.

There’s no competition. No trying to outdo each other. Just two people who genuinely care about what we do, sharing ideas, supporting each other and cheering each other on.

We bounce ideas around, learn from each other and bring our own experience into everything we’re creating.

Because when you find someone who shares your passion for helping others, you don’t just work together, you grow together.

We’re so excited about what we’re building and most importantly, the people we’re going to help along the way.

🩷Here’s to doing something we love, together and making it even better because we’re doing it side by side.

We’ve got this.

A little celebration… with a little stumbling block!

I've just received my Counselling Diploma Level 3 certificate and I'm so proud of this one.

It feels like another piece of the puzzle for the work I love doing through Reconnect & Rise. Supporting people through coaching, NLP, hypnotherapy and now counselling.

So, naturally, I'm already looking towards the next step. I was planning to start my Level 4 in Counselling this September.

And this is where I've hit a little stumbling block! I can't seem to find a college that's still accepting students for September.

So I'm putting it out there to all you wonderful people.

Does anyone know of a college offering Level 4 Counselling in Bolton or within about a 10-mile radius that's still accepting students for September?

I would really love to keep learning and developing my skills because the more I learn, the more I can bring into the work I do with people.

If you know somewhere I could contact, I would really appreciate a recommendation. Also, if you've studied counselling locally, I would love to hear where you went and how you found it.

Any help is gratefully appreciated. Thank you, everyone.

Have you noticed changes in your mood, sleep, energy or body and wondered what is going on? Menopause can affect far more than hot flushes. Peri Pilates brings movement, education and practical support together so you can better understand what is happening and find ways to support yourself.

Peri Pilates is coming to help women move, understand, breathe and feel better through menopause. This is more than a weekly Pilates class. It is a supportive 6-week programme combining Pilates, menopause education and practical tools to help you feel stronger, calmer and more in control.

Have you ever stopped to question whether everything you think is actually true?

Our minds are incredible storytellers. Sometimes those stories encourage us.
Sometimes they protect us and sometimes they convince us of things that simply aren't true.

I'm not good enough.
Everyone is judging me.
I can't cope.

The interesting thing is, we often accept those thoughts as facts without ever stopping to question them.

One of the biggest lessons NLP taught me wasn't how to stop thinking.
It was how to become curious about my thinking. Instead of believing every thought automatically, I learned to ask:

Is this definitely true?
What evidence do I have?
What else could be true?

Those questions don't magically make difficult thoughts disappear, but they do create something incredibly valuable...Choice.

Because when we stop treating every thought as a fact, we give ourselves permission to see things differently.

💜 What's one thought you've been treating as a fact that might deserve a second look?
