Another month… another county and the results are in!

Merseyside A 22 - 22 Cheshire A

Man of the Match: Mark Leatham who gave a well deserved 4/4 performance.
Special Mention: Ryan Baxter, promoted to the As and did his part getting 3/4.

Merseyside B 21 - 23 Cheshire B

Man of the Match: Derek Hornby, with another 4/4 performance for Merseyside and pulling off quality finishes.
Special Mentions: Ste Tait, getting 2/2 on his debut, taking out some great finishes. Thomas Hallmark with 3/4, quality performance.

Merseyside Ladies 16 - 28 Cheshire Ladies

Woman of the Match: Maz for 4/4, winning a quarter of all of the frames the ladies won today and (incase you didn’t know) “shes actually quite good”.

Merseyside Seniors 16 - 28 Cheshire Seniors

Man of the Match: Darren McGill, nabbing 3/4 and Captaining the team.
Special Mention: Billy Johnston 2/4 with a solid performance throughout.

Merseyside U23s - Cheshire U23s

Man of the Match: Owen Dodd, with a 4/4 and captaining his team to a draw.

Merseyside O60s 5 - 7 Cheshire O60s

Man of the Match: Rob Hounsell for getting up early to win 3/4 today, very nearly got Merseyside’s first result in the Over 60s!

He’s only gone and won it!!! Congratulations Thomas Dobie

Great to see Merseyside coming back together again for another season. Bit of a rocky start but still some major improvements on scores from last year, especially with our B team finishing victorious against Lancs. Looking at our veterans and new recruits we’re in for a good year!

MERSEYSIDE EPA COUNTY TRIALS

Trials for Merseyside EPA County will begin soon. This year we want as many people from as many places across Merseyside to have the opportunity to trial. Therefore, we have arranged open trials in 4 locations across 4 different days.

Entry for each trials event is £10 for the day, and all money will be paid back out in prize money. Those trialling for men's and women's teams will trial separately from each other.
