⚽ U14 Hemel Aces Vespas 0–6 knights💪

A 6-0 win in the County Cup! 🔥

We had a bit of a slow start and probably overcomplicated how we wanted to play in the opening half. But the second half was a much-improved performance, with some fantastic football and plenty of chances created. 👏⚽

It could have been double digits on another day, but we’ll happily settle for the 6 goals! 😁🙌

🏆 Alexandra Park U15 South 2-2 BWYFC U15 Crusaders

What a finish! 🤩🔥

The Crusaders maintained their unbeaten start to the new league season with a hard-fought and well-deserved draw against a strong Alexandra Park side. 💪🔴⚪️

A cagey first half saw both sides battle for control, but it was Crusaders who struck first when Harry pounced on a loose ball in the box to give us a 1-0 lead at half time! ⚽️👏

The second half continued in the same competitive fashion, with both goalkeepers making crucial saves. 🧤💥 Yas produced a brilliant one-handed save down to his left to keep Alexandra Park at bay! 👏🧤

However, AP responded with two quick-fire goals to turn the game around and take a 2-1 lead with just 10 minutes remaining. 😬

But these lads never gave up! 💪🔥

With the clock ticking down, a quick free kick between James and Dan saw Dan race to the byline and deliver a fantastic cross, with Harry ghosting in at the back post to bag his second of the game! ⚽️⚽️🙌

2-2! LAST-MINUTE EQUALISER! 🚨🔥

A brilliant performance from all 11 lads, showing true grit, determination and character to dig deep and salvage a well-deserved point on the road. 👊🔴

The U11 Lionesses welcomed Little Lionesses on Saturday and continued their winning start to the season! 💪🔥

⚽ Ella
Ella picked the ball up just past the halfway line and drove forward. Reaching the edge of the area, she unleashed a shot into the bottom corner! 🎯👏

⚽ Izzy
A beautifully struck free kick from Izzy gave the keeper absolutely no chance! 🚀🥅

⚽ Anna
A perfectly worked attack started with Isla on the right wing, who played the ball through to Izzy. Izzy’s cross found an unmarked Anna, who calmly tucked it away for her first goal of the season! 🔴⚽🙌

⚽ Araina
Araina pounced on a loose clearance and went for the long-distance strike… and WHAT A STRIKE! 💥🚀 Flying past the keeper to extend the lead!

⚽ Reeva
Rounding off the scoring was Reeva, who was played through beautifully by Aliyah. One-on-one with the keeper, Reeva kept her cool and slotted home! 👏⚽🔥

🏆 Congratulations to local lad and former Borehamwood Youth FC player, Noah Cornwell! 🏏

Noah was part of the Middlesex County Cricket Club squad that lifted the Metro Bank One Day Cup on Sunday, beating Leicestershire at Trent Bridge! 🎉

It’s been a fantastic season for Noah, who has also represented the England Lions and continues to show what a bright future he has in the game.

👏 A fantastic achievement and one to be proud of!

💥⚽️ U15 CRUSADERS GET LEAGUE CAMPAIGN OFF TO A FLYING START! ⚽️💥

🔴 BWYFC U15 Crusaders 8️⃣-1️⃣ APB Wingate U15 Rams

What a way to kick off the new league campaign! 🔥👏

The U15 Crusaders got off to a flying start with a thumping 8-1 victory over APB Wingate U15 Rams. 💪⚽️

The lads were out of the blocks quickly, racing into a 6-0 half-time lead following braces from Harry and Dan M, alongside goals from James and Jamie. 🚀

Wingate pulled one back in the second half, but the Crusaders kept pushing, adding two more goals through Dan F and Jamie to complete an excellent afternoon for the team. 👏🔥

Some fantastic football played throughout and a brilliant start to the league season! 🔴⚪️🙌

🦁🔵 U11 LIONesses DOMINATE AGAIN! 🔴🦁

A big thank you to Berkhamsted Raiders for hosting our Lionesses this week! ⚽️👏

The Lionesses got off to a flying start when Sophie picked the ball up just inside her own half, went on a fantastic solo run into the Berkhamsted area and calmly tucked the ball away! 🚀⚽️

GOAL 2️⃣ came when Jess won the ball in her own half, drove forward and found Ella with a lovely pass on the edge of the area. Ella took a few touches before calmly finding the corner! 🎯👏

GOAL 3️⃣ was another great team move. Jess found Anjola, who played a brilliant through ball for Reeva to run onto and finish! ⚡️⚽️

GOAL 4️⃣ came from Jess, who pounced on a loose ball, took on the Berkhamsted defence and coolly tucked it into the corner! 🔥🦁

And GOAL 5️⃣ was a beauty! 😍 Ella took a quick kick-in and caught everyone by surprise with an early shot from outside the box that flew into the bottom corner! 🚀⚽️

Berkhamsted managed to pull one back in the final few seconds, but there wasn’t enough time left to start a comeback. ⏱️

An absolutely brilliant performance from Sophie, who was everywhere on the pitch — helping out in attack and working tirelessly to get back and defend! 💪🦁👏

What a way to start the new season! 🤩👏

After the incredible success of winning the League 🏆 and League Cup 🏆 last season, there were understandably a few nerves about being promoted and facing some tougher opposition.

But the coaches had faith in the boys from the very first whistle… and they certainly delivered! 💪🔥

Harry got us off to the perfect start with the first 2 goals, and from there the goals just kept flowing! ⚽⚽⚽

👏 With assists coming from Patrick, Wiktor, Harry, Dexter, Avinos, Gabi, Philip, Michael, Max and Jayden, this was a fantastic team effort from start to finish! 💙🙌

🧤 Blake proved he definitely hasn’t lost his magic in goal, making some excellent saves to keep the opposition at bay! 🪄🧤

And a HUGE mention for Wiktor for an absolutely incredible goal-line clearance! 🚨🔥 What a moment to keep the opposition’s score down!

🌟 PLAYER OF THE MATCH — DEXTER 🌟

A fantastic performance from Dexter! 👏 His controlled passing helped drive the ball up the pitch, while his excellent crosses created some fantastic scoring opportunities. 🎯⚽

His brilliant combination play alongside Harry was also a big part of his hat-trick! 🔥⚽⚽⚽

What a way to open the season! 🙌🔥

The U11 Lionesses got their season off to a phenomenal start with a fantastic game against Hemel Aces Jaguars! 💪🦁

⚽ Ella opened the scoring with a beautifully struck free-kick! 🎯
⚽ Izzy quickly doubled the lead after a fantastic pass from Sophie found her in space. 👏
⚽ Hemel Aces pulled one back after a quick kick-in found an unmarked player in the area, who finished calmly.
⚽ Anjola restored the Lionesses’ advantage after some brilliant work from Jess, who weaved her way through the Hemel defence before playing a lovely ball through. 💫
⚽ Reeva then picked up the ball, showed some fantastic footwork and found herself 1️⃣v1 with the keeper before calmly finishing. 🥶
⚽ Jess rounded off the scoring with a fantastic solo run and a brilliant finish! 🔥👏
