We would like to take a moment to congratulate on her achievement of making the final 10 Yorkshire Dance Awards last weekend ⭐️

The standard was out of this world and we are so incredibly proud of how you danced Florence. To reach the final 10 in the Inter catergory was an INCREDIBLE achievement.

Well done to the students from all the outstanding schools that were there! 🤍

💇‍♀️ Our fabulous dancer Frankie is taking on a very special challenge!💇‍♀️

Frankie is having her hair cut to raise donations for the wonderful Little Princess Trust 🩷 — an organisation that provides real hair to create wigs for children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions.

Frankie wanted to share her fundraising page with you all and ask for any donations you may be able to give to support this wonderful cause.. 💚🌟

Because really, it’s not just about the dancing. 💚

Today, as we remember Dolly Parton and the incredible life she lived, this quote feels especially meaningful.

“Don’t you ever forget who you are and where you came from. Don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t do this or you can’t do that. You do whatever you think you can do.”

Because that is what we hope dance becomes for every child who walks through our doors.

A place where they learn to become themselves.

A place where they learn to face challenges, push through the difficult moments and believe that they can do things they once thought were impossible.

A place where they learn to set goals, chase dreams and never let somebody else decide what they are capable of.

And, perhaps most importantly, a place where true friendships are formed-with people who believe just as fiercely, who encourage one another, celebrate each other and grow together.

Dance is so much more than steps, routines and performances.

It’s confidence.
It’s resilience.
It’s friendship.
It’s finding your people.
It’s discovering who you are.

And if we can help even a little in teaching the next GENERATION to believe in themselves, to know where they came from and to never be afraid to dream big, then we are doing something far more important than teaching dance.

Thank you, Dolly, for reminding us to believe in ourselves and to never let anyone tell us what we cannot do. 🤍

We would like to take a moment to congratulate the fabulous on her recent success of achieving 4th place at the Prima Dance Events Junior Acro Championship!

This was Lois’ first championship and we could not be prouder, she competed against much older students and have it her all.

Lois consistently works hard and comes back with more new skills she’s worked on at home each week. We love watching you progress 💚 ⭐️
